Family Dental Associates

Dr. Adil graduated from de'Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore which is the pioneer dental college of the subcontinent. He completed his mandatory house job from yet another prestigious institute i.e. Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry, Rawalpindi. Soon after his house job he joined Islamic International Dental College in Jan, 2006 as demonstrator where he was not only involved in teaching under graduate students but also worked in the dental clinics that further enhanced his clinical skills. His clinical endeavors led him into Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeon Pakistan (FCPS) in the field Operative Dentistry which successfully commenced in 2007 and culminated in 2010 after which he joined Islamabad Medical and Dental College as Assistant Professor and still working at this senior faculty position.

He runs Courses on Restorative Dentistry , Endodontics and Pediatric dentistry at Academy of Continuing Health Education and Research. Moreover he is a co-supervisor for Masters in Dental Surgery in the subject of Restorative dentistry at Islamabad Medical and Dental College. 

He handles endodontics, paediatric dentistry under sedation, crowns and bridges and restoration of Implants at Family Dental Associates 

He did his graduation from Sardar Begum Dental College, Peshawar securing several distinctions. He completed his mandatory house job from Sardar Begum Dental Hospital, Peshawar. After completing his Fellowship of college of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 2009, he has held several senior faculty positions and currently working as Associate Professor at Margarita Institute of Health Sciences.

He also holds FFD RCS diploma from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in April 2012. Dr. Adnan practices full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including Implants, Extractions, trauma, bone grafts, oral cancer and orofacial pain management at Family Dental Associates. 

Dr. Afeef completed his bachelors in dental surgery from de'Montmorency college of Dentistry, Lahore, Pakistan in 2003. During his house job at Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry, Rawalpindi, he took his National Dental Boards, USA. During his stay there he did an observer ship of 6 months at Oklahoma University, Health Science centre, Oklahoma at the Department of Advanced education in general dentistry.

After his return, Dr. Afeef cleared his FCPS Part I in 2006 and joined fellowship training in the field of Orthodontics at KRL Hospital Islamabad, successfully finishing it in 2010.

Dr. Afeef joined Islamabad Dental Hospital in Nov 2010 as a senior registrar and has been promoted to the position of Assistant professor in the department of Orthodontics in January 2012 after passing FCPS II- Orthodontics. He is currently Head of Department at Foundation University College of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics. 

Dr. Afeef  works full time as an Orthodontist at ''The Family Dental Associates' in F-10 Markaz, Islamabad where he practices full scope of Orthodontics including all kinds of braces (Metal, clear, lingual and hidden) 

Dr. Afeef has been awarded with diploma of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Orthodontics . He has special interest in Complex Orthodontic cases including Cleft Lip and Palate, Syndromes and Orthognathic Patients 

Dr. Tariq Ali Khan is a visiting Consultant at Family Dental Associates. He is a Periodontist and completed his fellow ship in Periodontology (M Clin Dent Perio) from UK. He is currently heading the Department of Periodontology at Khyber College of Dentistry and visits Family Dental Associates for Perio patients.

He practices full scope of periodontology including root planning, implants, grafts etc
