This clinic is excellent. I have experience with visiting dentists in many countries. The office was conveniently located a very short walk from the pedestrian border crossing and a staff member met me to show me the way. From the first phone call to walking out the door after my first visit, I was treated with kindness and respect. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful and bilingual. I did not feel rushed. Dr. Chavez was thoughtful, honest, and clear in his explanations for my treatment plan taking the time to make sure I understood the procedures and the pros and cons. The office and treatment rooms were immaculate utilizing the most modern equipment and the doctor and staff followed strict hygiene protocols. I had minor procedures, a cleaning, filling and diagnostic x-rays, and will follow up with more extensive procedures. TIP: If you are walking across the border and have global entry/ SENTRI, don’t forget your card. Walking back is a little tricky. I finally asked someone who looked like they knew. Stay to the left of the main line and continue to walk to the border gates. The locals expect this and most importantly there are NO signs to guide you. Border crossings are all a little different and that’s how it’s done at Nogales.

This office was very professional and friendly. I was treated very very well and the doctor did a good job on a difficult tooth. She was very kind and I felt very safe. I strongly recommend this dental group. They are very professional and do high-quality work. The receptionist speaks English & translates when necessary. The office and dental rooms are very clean with modern equipment. They are a $5.00 10-minute cab ride from the border. I will be happily using the Contreras Dental Group for all my procedures in the future.
