SOTA DENTAL CANCUN

I have gone without dental insurance for about 11 years and was in dire need of an affordable solution. Many of our friends that had their teeth pulled and got dentures wished they hadn’t done this, as it is quite often uncomfortable.

So, I began my search for affordable but professional dentistry! This is my first time seeking dental work outside of the United States. I’m so glad I did my homework! My husband and I prayed every day to find just the right place, and we are not disappointed.

We found Grace Dental Studio Co. in Los Algodones, Mexico (right across from Yuma, Arizona) through SOTA Dental. I had previously sent my X-Rays, dental charts, and loads of questions to about 15 of the Dentists and Clinics in Los Algodones. I compared prices, references, videos, reviews, and everything I could think of. I needed to get: 3 implants, 3 root canals, numerous crowns, a bone graft, 2 gum lengthenings, an extraction, a temporary bridge, a temporary crown, several fillings, a flipper over the bone graft, and the CT scan.

For reassurance, I felt like I needed to talk with a former patient of the Dentist I chose and Grace Dental supplied me with a wonderful guy who was happy to share his total experience with us! Some of the deciding factors for us in choosing Grace Dental were the reviews they have and the recommendation from this reference we talked with! He unquestionably recommended them.

The Dentists, Dr Diego Marquez Rodriguez and his brother, Dr Nestor Marquez Rodriguez are very professional, experienced, continuing to be educated in the latest techniques in the US and elsewhere. They were born and raised in Yuma, Arizona are totally bilingual. These guys know their stuff, are excellent at what they do (all aspects of Dentistry and Dr Nestor is an Implant Specialist). Besides their expertise, my husband and I were really very surprised at just how down to earth and personable they are. Each of the Dentists, the entire staff, and the Specialists that were brought in to work on me, really care about their patients! They showed their love to me through their gentle touch, dedicated work ethic, and truly go the extra mile to get the job done expertly and with Grace! Haha! But it is true! I guess I cannot say enough good about Grace Dental and the wonderful staff. They work as a great team. Even in the waiting room, many people said their reputation is stellar.

They are price - conscious, honest, provide an outstanding result, and are the nicest people around to work with!

What we decided to do was to have our lodging in Yuma, each day park at the border ($6/per day in a secure parking lot), and walk across the border to Grace Dental, which is about 2-1/2 blocks away.

Every day we were amazed at the number of cars crossing the border, waiting in very long lines. So glad we chose this route! Thank you, Sota Dental! Guess that’s about all!

I live in the United Stated and I have had some trouble with how expensive dental care is. I needed 2 of my wisdom teeth removed because my upper and lower row of teeth had no more space for the wisdom teeth to grow in. Dental care is so expensive though that I could not even afford to have 1 removed through surgery. It has been a few months since I have been feeling pain in my mouth due to this and decided to look for a more affordable option. I simply couldn't stand the pain that I was experiencing anymore. A friend of mine had visited Sota Dental in Cancun, telling me that they offer much cheaper but quality dental care. The clinic there was clean and had some really nice equipment. The staff was very helpful and spoke English well, I also did not need to wait long for me to be entertained.

The dentist that attended to me was Dr. Galvez. He was very professional and explained everything to me very clearly. He even offered me choices for all of those things that he could do and how it would affect me and my budget. He was really easy to talk to since he spoke English fluently and I felt very comfortable letting him oversee my procudure. I was seen by 3 doctors in total. The procedure was not painful at all and he gave me clear instructions on what I should be doing while recovering.

I am happy to have found this awesome clinic. It was so easy to coordinate with them and get an appointment. They were really so welcoming and they made the whole process so easy. They even gave me a ride to and from where I was staying. I will totally recommend this clinic to my family and friends and will be sure to come back if I need any other dental services. I'm so glad that I was finally able to have my wisdom teeth removed.

I’m Japanese, so my English is not perfect but I wanted to share my dental experience with Sota dental and Dr. Galvez. My husband is American and he found Dr. Galvez through the Sota dental website. And what a find! He took my pain off and made my teeth look good. He is very kind and explains about my teeth until I totally understand. I was able to see my teeth through the microscope monitor and it helped a lot too. Since then I have visited Dr. Galvez for my root canals last 2 times. He makes every effort to fix your teeth.

We will come back to him when we have troubles with our teeth. After everything is done, I had a wonderful tropical vacation with my husband in Cancun! Arigatou, Dr. Galvez! My husband took some pictures of my procedure today too.

I've been to different dental clinics in the United States before but nothing beats the guys at Sota Dental. This time I got my wisdom tooth removed and my friend referred this clinic to me. The appointment process was easy; they have great customer service that really attains to what I needed. The location is very accessible; my hotel is not so far from the clinic's location and I got there without hassle because they actually provided transportation service, which is very amazing. I was also amazed by their state-of-the-art equipment, some of it I did not see in any other clinic. Because they have this new hi-tech equipment, the tooth extraction I had was painless and super quick. The clinic is very hygienic and they really provided good service because when I got there, they immediately accommodated me. The staff are very friendly and professional as well.

Dr. Galvez attended me. He is very nice and doesn’t make me feel awkward. He works very gently and precisely I really could tell he knows everything he is doing. He speaks very good English and was very conversational. Before we started the procedure, we talked for awhile about how I am doing, do I have allergies, do I have hypertension, we also talked about my hobbies and work. I normally get anxious when I go to clinics, maybe because I got this stereotype that doctors do not care about how you feel as long as they get the job done, but not Dr. Galvez. At first, I was nervous about the procedure because I’ve heard from friends that the extraction is painful but he assured me that it is painless. After the procedure, he discussed the healing process and the do's and don'ts as well as the treatments that are on my budget. He is very professional without the awkwardness.

I highly recommend this clinic. Professional people, state-of-the-art equipment and great customer service. I will certainly be a lifetime customer with these guys. Especially when you can relax on the beach in Cancun. That’s a plus.

This is my note of appreciation for the great service I had with Sota Dental Dental. I got a consultation from my former dentist back in May 2016 that I have to get a root canal done on my front tooth. I could not afford his root canal services; I live in the US, and dental services here are so expensive. I was fortunate enough that when my Mom paid my Aunt a visit in Cancun, Mexico last June of the same year, my Mom happened to tell her my problem. My Aunt told her about Dr. Galvez and immediately referred me to Sota Dental. My Aunt booked me an appointment at Sota Dental right away, and fast forward two weeks, I find myself arriving at Mexico, feeling a bit nervous and excited for the root canal procedure I’ll be going through.

And boy, I was surprised. Aside from the fact that the Sota Dental clinic is a clean place filled with high-quality dental equipment, this clinic greatly helped me save a lot for the cheaper, but high-quality root canal service. Dr. Galvez gave me a wonderful experience I never thought I would have at a dental clinic. He is so professional!

Although Mexicans, Dr. Galvez, his secretary and his assistant nurse are very fluent in the English language, I did not have a hard time having a conversation with them during the consultation before and after the root canal procedure. They thoroughly explained the procedures beforehand; from which I felt their efficiency, kindness, and professionalism to the highest degree. That is the amazing feeling I felt all the way from the reception staff to the wonderful and friendly Dr. Galvez. I will never go to another dentist if I don’t have to. My dentist back home never was this good.  I never thought that going to a dentist could be such a pleasant experience. Dr. Galvez and his nurse took every measure to ensure I was comfortable and not in any pain.  The procedures were almost painless; I felt very much at ease at how professional Dr. Galvez is. Probably the most painful part was the tiny little needle for tooth numbing, and it was barely a pinch.

If you ever had any concerns about having a root canal, you don’t have to worry if you’re going to have Dr. Galvez at Sota Dental. I was really grateful to have had that kind of experience. Trust me when I say that your experience will be terrific. You will feel minimal discomfort if there is any at all. Dr. Galvez and his nurse really care about their patients and you can see that level of care and concern as soon as you walk in the door. Thank you, Sota Dental. English is not my first language but I want to tell you about my experience with Sota Dental. Dr. Gilberto really made my smile better. The dental service was very professional and the price very well within my budget. When I called Sota Dental to inquire about their tooth implant service, I was impressed by how courteous and very accommodating the secretary was. I know that I will be getting a superb service prompting me to immediately set an appointment with them.

I flew down to Cancun, Mexico where Sota Dental is located. It felt like I was hitting two birds with one stone. Not only that I would get a new set of teeth implants but I would get to see Cancun, Mexico where there are plenty of beautiful places to visit such as the ancient Mayan ruins. It actually seemed like I was just taking a vacation.

On appointment day, the Sota Dental driver fetched me from the hotel where I was staying which really impressed me more. On the way to the clinic, the driver told me about historic places in and around Cancun. I really felt great, it really seemed like I was a tourist.

Upon reaching the clinic, the driver opened the car door for me and ushered me in. The clinic has a sophisticated look. It was neat and clean. The dental equipment were all brand new. Another good thing about Sota Dental was that I didn’t have to sit down and wait for hours at the reception area. The friendly staff was very hospitable and all speak good English. They were all quick to assist me.

Finally, I got to meet the guys, a nice assistant and Dr. Gilberto. The secretary whom I set an appointment with was even friendlier in person. I was then introduced to another doctor who did my implant. He was just as accommodating, friendly, and speak impeccable English too.

Dr. Galvez and the other doctors were very professional, he gave me plenty of options on how to go about my tooth implant. I did not have a lot of money so they gave me options on different kinds of implants. The options he gave me were all within my budget. As a matter of fact, after the operation, I even had some extra dollars left for sightseeing. I also saw another nice doctor who did my implant who was great as well. Thank you, Dr. Gilberto, for giving me the perfect set of tooth implants. You made my smile the sweetest.

The level of competency offered by Sota Dental is remarkable. They are passionate about what they do and I’m happy that I found them. My dentist is Dr. Galvez and the dental hygienist is a lady (I’m sorry I forget her name) and I can’t praise them enough. The first time I sought out their services I was referred by my neighbors who proclaimed their knowledge and expertise in dentistry; I, therefore, contacted Sota Dental over the phone. I explained to the secretary about the problem I was encountering with my teeth, surprisingly she recommended a solution over the phone based on my budget, although I had to fly out to Mexico. They were able to accept x-rays from my dentist here.

Like most people, I have never been a fan of the dentist because I absolutely hate needles but Dr. Galvez helped me ease my anxiety. The secretary at Sota Dental gave me all the relevant information that I needed to fly to Cancun. I made my visit for a root canal on my rear most molar. They even gave me tips on where to stay so that I could walk to the clinic and not need a ride.

I had a lot of problems in my mouth and that posed a great deal of threat financially. However, it reached a point where I had to get my teeth fixed. Dr. Galvez gave me a great root canal & crown. I saved a great deal of money since it’s much more expensive in my hometown in Seattle.

I had another root canal treatment later back in Seattle. First attempt didn't go well so they had me back a month later for a second try. After feeling not confident, I flew back to Sota Dental recently because of a toothache, and they told me the root canal was failing. They recommended extraction, then a bone graft, an implant, and finally a crown, to the tune of a reasonable price and a year of operations. They scheduled the first two operations right away to lock them in.

I went to another local dentist here in Seattle for a second opinion also and they recommended only extraction, no other procedures. The cost could be due to how my insurance interacts with different offices, but the fact that they didn't try to sell me on any other surgeries was a red light. It seemed to me that they were trying to sell me poor services that I did not need.

The doctors proved to be professionals in the way they conducted their clinic. I was greatly pleased by Dr. Galvez’s understanding and kindness. Surprisingly, the doctor speaks perfect English. Based on the payment that I made, I had lots of options on the table and that impressed me a great deal.

The dentist had very soft hands and he conducted the pain-free procedure. As pointed out by my neighbor, I realized that all the doctors working with Dr. Galvez are very nice and easy to communicate. They made me feel very comfortable with the whole procedure.

Dr. Galvez, exemplary service is rare to find in Seattle, which is why I come to Cancun. Since then he has been my first call for all my dentistry needs. Like my satisfied neighbors, I gladly recommend him to anyone with dentistry needs around Seattle but can’t afford it here.

I had an overall good experience with the dental work I had with Sota Dental. I've had my apprehensions about getting my teeth done outside the US, but I needed to have root canal done on two molars and a new crown for another, and I really can't afford dental care because of my small budget as a college student.

I wanted to make sure that less expensive dental care doesn't mean less quality, so I did tons of research online. I finally decided on Sota Dental and called them up from the US on their 1800 number. I had to explain to the secretary I had a limited budget and the secretary understood. I was pleasantly surprised that everything went smoothly and that communication wasn't a big deal because she spoke perfect English.

They explained the process before I flew to Cancun. So I got the procedure done, and my teeth feel great. To be fair, it was my first time to get a root canal so I didn't have any experience to compare it with, so I guess I got the expected result. Dr. Galvez was very reassuring, and I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. I guess being under anesthesia helped a lot, but it wasn't scary like I imagined. If you're flying to Cancun for vacation, you might as well get your teeth fixed. I have two lower lateral incisors missing from birth so I will definitely fly back to get a bridge or an implant once I save up. I think Cancun will be in my plans when I need serious dental work again. I very much recommend Dr. Galvez.

I had my first root canal 5 years ago and it was the worst dental visit I ever had. I was like a kid who was afraid of dentists. But here I am again, I needed one again on my 2nd right, bottom molar. But no worries now, as there’s Dr. Galvez saved me! I have a friend in Cancun who had perfectly done dental implants and told me about Sota Dental. I remember him mentioning his dentist and decided to give it a try.

I called their office and had an appointment. They gave me a very detailed instruction on what to expect. The clinic secretary was very accommodating to my questions especially about coming to Mexico. I found Dr. Galvez at Sota Dental in Cancun. Believe me, they have the friendliest staff. It felt like you are not in a clinic. Everyone was very accommodating not to mention their good English. I thought I will be bombarded by Spanish conversation. I even brought my Latino friend in case I needed a translator. The clinic was very clean too. It looks like my mother is their cleaning lady.

Then I finally met the Dr. Galvez my friend was boasting about. Seriously, this guy is a listener. It felt like I was not talking to a medical professional. It felt like he was a brother who cared for my molars. He was easy to talk to. He was not like other dentists who just go down the business and had your tooth extracted then done. He listens, cracks jokes a few times. This clinic is all about care. He gave me very easy payment options. And quite frankly, they have affordable prices like the other clinics down there. Now I know why Mike recommended Dr. Galvez. The procedure felt like I was the only patient there. He was not looking at the clock. He was very focused on my procedure and does not make you feel nervous at all. I actually enjoyed the experience and will come back. Even the injection didn’t hurt that much. I am not back at my job and it’s like nothing happened.

I am planning to take my mom here for her dentures next soon. I don’t mind the travel. It was really worth every penny. Plus the best thing? They pick you up right from the airport! That was amazing!

I want to share with you my great teeth implant experience with Sota Dental! I do not have a perfect smile that is why I decided to undergo a teeth implant. Recently, I went to Mexico to have a couple of implants in my teeth. I just scheduled an appointment with the clinic and they are very accommodating. They even sent personnel to the airport who brought me directly to the clinic since I am not familiar with the place. The location of Sota Dental clinic is very easy to find because it is near the Superama market. I arrived safely in the clinic for my teeth check-up. The clinic looks very elegant and clean. The staff all greeted me and they even offered me some tea while waiting for the doctor who was assigned to me. I didn’t wait too long because they have a good client service and the ambiance was very relaxing.

The doctor who examined and checked my teeth was Dr. Galvez & his assistants. He is a very professional doctor, intelligent, and understanding. He told me to calm down and relax. He asked few questions about my teeth and how I want the implant to be placed on some parts of my teeth. He gave suggestions to me on where the teeth implant suits well. He really listened to my opinions regarding the implant and he made sure that I am comfortable and ready for the teeth implant.

After my teeth was examined for the implants, Dr. Galvez told me to prepare for the teeth implant the next day. They gave me an anesthesia so that I will not feel pain while they are conducting the implant. I was nervous because it is my first time to have a teeth implant but the staff in the clinic comforted me and they are all very accommodating. The implant procedure lasted for a little over an hour. I did not feel the pain and the implant is really great. I am thankful to the Sota Dental clinic especially to Dr. Galvez who made my teeth perfect! Now I am always camera ready because I have a pretty smile.

I am from Florida and it's really unfortunate that dental care here is very expensive. That's why I came to Sota Dental in Cancun to finally have my chipped tooth fixed and for my fake tooth to be made. It's been such a long time that I wanted this to be done but I couldn't afford to get one here. It really isn't that affordable to get one in the US. It's a good thing my friend recommended this Dr. Galvez to me. Not only is he really affordable, the staff is also really accommodating.

The dentist, Dr. Galvez, was very kind enough to give me several options on treatments depending on my budget. He was also totally exceptional at what he does. It seems to me like he is very light handed because there was no pain during the entire procedure. Apart from that, he also explained everything so I would understand what I was about to go through.

I am so glad that I came all the way to Sota Dental to have my teeth done because everything was basically perfect. It fit my budget at an absolutely wonderful quality that is on par to the dental clinics in the US. The process was also really smooth, thanks to the staff.
