The hygienist was AMAZING with my sonSandra, Ireland, 13 10 22

Brought my kids to see Rebecca Dental Hygienists yesterday. My 14-year-old has never had any problems going to Dentist so no issues there. My 11-year-old son, however, has autism and high anxiety when it comes to things like doctors, hospitals and dentists. Rebecca was AMAZING with him. She chatted away with him and while my son was sceptical and scared, he let her do one tooth. Rebecca said "you are my boss; you tell me when to stop and I promise only to do one tooth and then we'll take a break". She did exactly that and my son was soon giving her the thumbs up to let her continue. It took a long time to clean his teeth, but Rebecca stayed patient and reassuring - constantly explaining what each tool was, what the different noises were and what she was going to do next - so there were no surprises. She even suggested my son hold a mirror so he could see what she was doing, and this was the winning trick. At the end, my son was so proud of his super clean teach and is looking forward to going back again. I know this may seem like "doing her job" but honestly her understanding and accommodation of his needs was exceptional. When re-booking for 6 months' time, Rebecca ensured my son would be back with her (continuity is so important for him) and even booked a longer session so that she could go at my son's pace. And even though she didn't need to, she was as reassuring and thorough with my 14-year-old. I could not recommend Rebecca highly enough.

Now I have a treatment plan and feel so happy about itMandy, Ireland, 20 04 23

I'm taking the time to do this review because Dr. David Vard is excellent. I'm out of pain, no fuss, no bother, great advice delivered in a calm safe environment. I'll be a regular visitor from now on as the whole team were caring and kind and totally alleviated my fears. Dr. David explained the issue, and how it arose and now I have a treatment plan and feel so happy about it. Thank you. And then went next door to Killiney shopping centre, got what I needed in the chemist and had a coffee in a lovely little coffee shop. Happy days.

I was searching for a Dental Practice locally and was so fortunate that I chose Ballybrack Dental - I liked the website with so much relevant information, good reviews and a current client who is very pleased. Surgical Extractions up to €150
Treatment Duration: 30 – 60 minutes A tooth may need to be removed from the mouth if it cannot be saved through any other treatment. Most commonly teeth are extracted when a tooth is broken through trauma/accident, decay or if it is loose. There are many reasons an extraction may be required. It is important to consult your dentist regarding a dental plan. There are two types of tooth extraction: Simple extraction: This is the most common type of extraction and is very straight forward. This type of extraction occurs when the tooth is visible or loose in the mouth. Surgical extraction: This is a more complicated procedure and is necessary if a tooth is broken at the gum line or is below the gum line. This type of extraction takes more time and in some instances can only be carried out by an oral surgeon. If this is the case our dentist will refer you to an oral surgeon. What to expect from your visit to White Smile Dental: Once you have made an appointment you will be sent a reminder text the day before with our your appointment details and our address. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a new patient form and take a seat in our comfortable waiting area. At your appointment time, our dentist will check your mouth and the affected tooth while taking xrays if required. He will discuss all options available and clearly outline the cost and time frame of treatment. At this point and if it is possible you may decide to have the tooth removed there and then or arrange to come back at a more convenient time. Aftercare notes are given at the end of your appointment to guide you post treatment.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction
Treatment Duration: 45 – 60 minutes Wisdom teeth are located at the very back of the mouth and tend to come through in when in your twenties or later. This often causes problems with space in the mouth (impacted) when they are ‘erupting’ leading to pain and infection. In some cases wisdom teeth can only be removed by an oral surgeon in which case our dentist will refer you. If you are in pain from your wisdom teeth please contact us immediately. We will ensure we see you as soon as possible. There is a possibility our dentist may not be able to remove your wisdom tooth that day, but we will help with any pain and prescribe antibiotics if required. Castle Clinic - Mr Darren McCourt

Castle Clinic

Specialist Oral Surgery and Advanced Dental Implantology Clinic, 2 Castle Street, Dalkey
4.7 from 8 verified reviews
Communication is excellent, all the staff are friendly, courteous and efficientCáit, Ireland, 17 08 18

I was referred to Dr McCourt for complex dental extraction and implant. Despite this, the extraction was painless! Due to the complexity of my situation, the implant treatment was prolonged as I needed a graft. Apparently, this is not usual. Normally only takes a couple of months. However, Dr McCourt brought me in several times for review and to ensure all was going well. I was very confident in him. A year later, I attended for the implant (last June) and was quite nervous and to be honest I didn't feel a thing. Dr McCourt is the consummate professional. He ensured I was fully informed at all stages. There is an air of calmness about the practice, which is very person/client-centred. Communication is excellent, all the staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. I cannot recommend Dr McCourt's practice highly enough. Excellent!
