Dr. O’Mahony graduated as a dentist from the Dublin Dental School and Hospital, Trinity College Dublin in 1989. She worked for several years in the Dublin Dental School and Hospital and then private practice in Dublin. In 1993 she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, FDS (RCSI). She then moved to the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where she trained as a Prosthodontist receiving a MS in Oral Biology and Prosthodontics, and a DDS from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. O’Mahony pursued an academic career and was tenured as an Associate Professor in 2002 and returned to Ireland to take up a position as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at the National Maxillofacial Unit in St James’s Hospital. She has over 20 years experience working in multidisciplinary teams providing restorative dentistry for complex cases focusing primarily on patients with cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies, head and neck cancer and trauma. These complex dental problems require a team approach for optimal results.

Claire qualified in 1999 from Trinity College. She had spent the last 10 years providing dental hygiene to periodontal (gum), pediatric (children) and dental implant patients in specialized practices. Claire joins our practice as a dental hygienist and practice manager. Claire has a detailed knowledge of complex dental rehabilitation and the importance of regular dental maintenance in the longevity of dental restorative work.

Qualified in Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin in 1994. He subsequently studying Dentistry at Trinity College Dublin, where he qualified in 1999. He completed post-graduate surgical and dental training at Beaumont, St. James’s and James Connolly Hospitals. Following this, Mr. O’Ceallaigh undertook senior specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Wales, and completed his Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship with Jan Stanek at the West London Clinic.
