"A perfect smile and comfortable feeling."
5 50Reviewed 19 Jan 2016 Review verified by phone and email.
Treatment Received: Dental Bridges,Dental Implants,Dental Crowns,Teeth Whitening
Bridges, implants, crowns, whitening of old yellow tooth; a lot of open mouth. Reward: a perfect smile and comfortable feeling with good function. And not least made by a charming and young dentist that showed very good craftsmanship.

My Danish dentist always tells me that all other countries have bad dentists and primitive tools and clinics. My experience after a visit to Madenta Budapest is the opposite in the extreme. Modern clinic with the latest in dental technology and competent, professional treatment from dentists who have the up to date knowledge and much experience in the more difficult dental work.

Dental Crowns
A crown is an artificial restoration that fits over the remaining part of a prepared tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape of a natural tooth. A crown is sometimes also known as a 'cap'. Crowns are an ideal restoration for teeth that have been broken, or have been weakened by decay or a very large filling. A crown could be used for a number of other reasons, for instance: you may have discoloured fillings and would like to improve the appearance of the tooth, you may have had a root filling which will need a crown to protect it, it may help hold a bridge or denture firmly in place. Crowns can be made of a variety of different materials and new materials are continually being introduced.

Extractions
If the tooth is heavily affected by caries so that a reconstruction is no longer possible with conventional conservative or prosthetic aids (restorations, constructional systems, inlays, crowns). In case of grave gingival or periodontal diseases, If sore granulation tissue or cysts around the teeth are found that are the causes for other diseases. (e. g. arthritides, loss of hair, eye inflammations, etc. ), If a tooth is no longer curable with the aid of a root treatment, or if this cannot be accomplished correctly due to anatomic circumstances. Due to reasons attributed to orthodontics an extraction can be necessary owing to the lack of space. An already weak tooth can break during the extraction. Then the roots have to be removed with special forceps and arms. In rare cases the root has to be removed surgically. After the extraction of teeth that reach into the maxillary sinus, it can lead to the lancing of the maxillary sinus. In this case the doctor has to close it surgically at once so that it will not lead to an inflammation of the maxillary sinus later. It rarely happens with lower molars that the nerve which lies below is hurt. In this case the patient feels numb in this region a few days long. But this numbness disappears again after a few days.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction
The main task of the dentist is to decide whether the wisdom tooth that causes problems can be saved or not. In order to reach a reassuring conclusion in this respect, a panorama x-ray is made, giving useful information on the position and shape of the tooth, its relation to neighbouring teeth and the occasional deviations around the tooth. If the dentist’s professional judgement is that the partially erupted tooth is growing in the right direction and it can be expected to fit into the dental arch, then the main goal is to prevent inflammation around the tooth crown. In such cases the dentist cleans and disinfects the pocket under local anaesthetics. As a result, the inflammation disappers in 2-3 days. When not inflamed, the mucous membrane still covering the tooth can be removed with a minor incision, thereby the tooth crown is free to develop. The wirdom tooth may also be saved if it remains entirly in the jaw bone, causes no complaints and the x-ray shows no deviations around it.

Inlay or Onlay
Instead of the conventional fillings there is the possibility of producing prepared and prefabricated Inlays. The dentist prepares cavity and makes a precise impression of this one. Then the technician pours it out and produces an Inlay exactly suitable for this tooth. The finished Inlay is then glued into the cavity by the dentist. Where is the difference between Inlay and Onlay? Only the size! If there is already a lot of tooth substance missing, e. g. also a cusp, the reconstruction is called Onlay. According to the materials, processing and price, they both are identical. The accuracy of fit is very high in this kind of restoration and thus a very high persistence is guaranteed. There is the possibility of gold Inlays and the tooth coloured ceramic or glass ionomer Inlays as well as the combination of noble metal and ceramic.

Orthodontist Consultation
Veneers are usually made from porcelain and are thin coverings that are custom-made to fit over existing teeth. They are held in place by a special resin and result in durable coverings that can be a cosmetic fix for spaces in between teeth, broken or chipped teeth, stained fillings, correcting crooked or uneven teeth, or even whitening. Veneers are fitted by a dentist in an almost painless procedure. Once fitted, they last many years and look completely natural. After 5 to 10 years, the wearer should replace their veneers. The dentist will remove only the tiniest amount of natural tooth structure if any before attaching the veneers. The veneers are strong and durable and the color should remain unstained. A resin filling can be used when only a small amount of the tooth needs replacing or repair, or a full crown might be used if there was a root canal treatment or if all the enamel was lost. The dentist takes an impression of the tooth to make an exact replica.

Veneers
Veneers are extremely thin porcelain facings that are glued to the anterior surface of the teeth to improve dental cosmetic aesthetic. They are especially used for the optical correction of the form, colour or small displacements of the tooth. For this purpose the surfaces of the teeth have to be prepared at first, which means that a 1mm thin layer is removed from the face or the cutting edges of the teeth. After a precise impression a filmy full ceramic layer is done out of a lot of layers of porcelain by hand that are glued to the teeth then. This kind of aesthetic adornment is mostly chosen in case of healthy teeth which means not filled or root-treated teeth because otherwise full ceramic crowns ought to be chosen in favour of improved stabilisation. Moreover the treating dentist has to judge the whole physiological occlusion because in case of distinct occlusal malposition, like deep bite or “natural gnashing of teeth” the durability is restricted.

Lumineers™
An innovative form of Veneers are the Lumineers. They are produced by a new type of computer technology that enables an extremely thin production of porcelain tray, the gracefulness of which could be comparable to the one of contact lenses. Advantages: no grinding is necessary, in most cases no anaesthesia is necessary, the colour and form can freely be chosen to obtain a “perfect smile”, extraordinary high precision, due to the fact that it is produced by computer technology, little tooth displacements can be corrected.
