I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a seamless journey from the airport to the hotel and to the clinic. The whole process went exceptionally smoothly, thanks to an amazing team who really went above and beyond. The level of helpfulness and friendliness of the team was remarkable. From the moment I arrived, I felt well taken care of. I was at the clinic for a dental implant (single stage) and I must say that the doctors demonstrated a high level of competence. Their expertise and professionalism was evident throughout the procedure. I am really pleased with the overall experience and positive outcome of the dental implant. Without hesitation, I would recommend this service to anyone who may be in doubt or looking for exceptional care. Many thanks to the entire team for making my visit memorable and satisfying. I first went to Izmir to have veneers fitted in 2007 and they lasted me until this year (2022) when the ageing process of shrinking gums etc dictated it was time to renew them. The dentist I saw in 2007 was not available, so I did some research and found West Dent Dental Clinic. I contacted their practice and had many WhatsApp chats with their staff who were always ready to answer any queries I had. I was researching three potential clinics, but chose West Dent based on feedback and price. I arrived in Izmir, using Turkish Airlines, late evening and was met by Cavit, who was my driver and point of contact for the duration of my stay. I attended the busy practice the next day (chauffeured by Cavit) and met the lovely English interpreter and the equally lovely and knowledgeable young lady dentist- unfortunately I do not know their names, but the dentist who treated me was named ‘Spring’ as an English translation. She quickly and efficiently removed my old veneers (I had the front six replaced). The operation was not painful, but was a bit uncomfortable. I was repeatedly offered anaesthetic if I felt I needed it. Once the old veneers were removed, my teeth were cleaned and impressions taken for the technician to work to. My veneers are porcelain. I went back two days later for a fitting. I had arranged to stay In Izmir for ten days so I could have a short break as well as dental treatment. When my new veneers were fitted I felt they were too large and before I could say anything, the dentist removed them from my mouth and immediately said she was not happy with them. She then took new impressions for a further set of veneers to be made. There was no fuss or drama, she wasn’t prepared to accept what, she considered to be, not good enough. As I said, I had 10 days in Izmir, so I had plenty of time to wait for the replacements. When the new veneers arrived they were a perfect fit, but very straight. I have an unusually large overbite and wanted them slightly shorter and slightly uneven. This the dentist achieved for me once they were cemented in. All my experiences at West Dent Clinic were positive. The staff were happy and obliging, nothing was too much trouble - would I recommend them? Yes, I definitely would. Some advice I would give is that if you are coming to West Dent for treatment, you should be prepared to be flexible with your appointment times. This is a busy dental practice subject to the dental needs and emergencies of their local patients. I had my appointment time changed a few times, but I was given plenty of notice and, as I was being collected, it made no difference to me. Once again, I would thoroughly recommend the staff and treatment I received at West Dent Clinic. Thank you lovely team-I think about you every time I smile.With kindest regards to you all.

I don't normally leave reviews but I'm leaving this one as I found Dr Cem after reading these reviews. The review in question said "Stop looking any further, you've found your man" and I would like to second this opinion. Here is my story. I needed a tooth removal and an implant placed to support a crown consisting of 2 teeth. I went to my UK implant dentist (who had placed 2 previous implants) and the quote was £4300, using porcelain crowns. I would have to wait 3 months for the 1st appointment and the whole procedure would take approx 10 months (3 months waiting for 1st appointment of tooth removal, 3 months to let the jaw bone heal and then place the implant, 4 months to let the implant bond to the jaw bone) so I decided to look abroad for a cheaper, faster service and I found Dr Cem. I sent him a WhatsApp message with photos explaining what needed doing and received great communication, answering all my questions. I explained to him that I didn't want bright white 'Turkey teeth' but natural-looking crowns and he reassured me. I asked how quickly he could fit me in and he could see me the following week. There would be no charge for the tooth removal (£350 in my UK quote) and he would be able to place the implant immediately after removing the tooth. I initially asked for a price for a Straumann implant (Rolls Royce of implants, so I thought) but after doing some homework, I settled for a Megagen implant (Skoda of implants, very good and successful but cheaper, 700 euros including bone graft ) and approximately 2 weeks after first contacting Dr Cem found myself in Istanbul with my daughter to have the implant fitted. Like many other reviews here I had very little pain, probably 0.5 on a scale of 0-10, and went for a meal with my daughter that evening. I came home, kept my mouth scrupulously clean and it healed very quickly, although I should add that the dissolvable stitches didn't fully dissolve so I had to ask my UK dentist to remove them. This was a little bit embarrassing but she did do it and didn't charge for it, probably because it took her less than 5 minutes! Dentists are advertising online who provide this service if your dentist refuses to do it for you. Last week, 3.5 months after having the implant placed, I returned to Istanbul with my wife for a week's dental holiday. On Monday we visited Dr Cem for the impressions and he suggested that rather than just having the 2 crowns, why didn't I also replace the other 4 front crowns because what was the point in having 2 amazing teeth alongside 4, 20-year-old goofy, poorly fitted porcelain crowns and I decided that he was right and at £340 each for zirconium crowns, which are between £600-£800 each in the UK, why not? On Wednesday we had a quick check of the 6 crowns to check they fitted OK etc and finally on Friday he fitted my new teeth and I am delighted with them. They look very natural, fit up to the gums, aren't goofy, like my old ones, aren't metallic like my old porcelain crowns and being zirconium, are practically indestructible. If you do have the option, I would recommend getting the work done over winter as flights and hotels are much cheaper and Istanbul is quieter (albeit, still heaving in the tourist areas!!). In summary, Dr Cem is a fantastic, highly qualified, highly experienced implantologist and you don't need to look any further.

I'm so glad I came to the Pearl Clinic in Antalya, Lara. Prices are so much cheaper than other countries. Hotel and all travel to the dentist from the airport, etc., are included. I got a great hotel next to the beach. I've had 29 zirconia crowns, a bridge, and 1 root canal, all for £4100. All work has been completed in 6 days. They just ask for an extra day to make sure you're happy. I'm so glad I chose this clinic; it's very legit, and they didn't pester me when I'm coming like the rest of the dentists. They work to your schedule. I did a lot of research; the Pearl Clinic was my favorite by far. Good communication, the best price. I can actually smile for the first time in my life and be confident.

I had a good experience with Dr Cinik Hospital. The before and after operation care has been really great.

I had 27 crowns (Zirconium), 3 implants (Neodent), 3 tooth extractions and 1 root canal treatment carried out in my first visit. Communication prior to me deciding on the choosing the right dentist was excellent, assisted us with booking hotels for our stay in Antalya and the price was very competitive. The whole process of getting my composite bonding has been so quick and easy. I enquired on the day of my week holiday and was picked up and brought in for my consultation the next day and work was carried out the day after that. The clinic came highly rated and was very high tech and friendly. I had to bring my youngest child to the appointment and all the staff and nurses took great care of him whilst I was in the chair. Very reasonable priced and his work is exquisite. The work took 3 hrs and it didn’t eat into my holiday time and I’m over the moon with my finished teeth. My partner and I recently visited the Dent Medica centre from the UK and cannot praise the facilities, staff and entire process highly enough. We would really like to thank Dr Kubra, her Dental Technician, Sarah (overseas client operations manager) and the lovely welcoming reception staff. The process commenced approximately a month before our visit to Bodrum and began with a very friendly and informative remote meeting. All potential treatments and costs were discussed and the booking process was extremely easy. The treatments we had consisted of a crown, filling, and whitening. Collection from our hotel and return journey was arranged at no extra cost. The cleanliness of the centre was second to none and the modern equipment far exceeds many UK dentists. The scan for the crown was completely electronically, sent to a nearby lab where a 3D print was made and ready for fitting two days later. The aforementioned team work so well together, ensuring that you are made to feel at ease and are in expert hands. They are also extremely flexible and will arrange for additional treatments if required on examination. However, I must add that Dr Kubra will only do what is best for the client and will not undertake any unnecessary treatments. If I am to be honest we were a little nervous regarding having dental treatment abroad but I cannot recommend Dent Medica enough and we will definitely return.
