Kyriakides&Minas dental - Dr George Minas

Kyriakides&Minas dental

Constantinou Kalogera 47, larnaca, 6021
Rating from 2 Reviews The clinic is modern & well equipped, and is centrally located & easily accessibleBarbara, Cyprus, 17 Nov 16

My sudden toothache turned out to have a rather serious cause & I ended up needing root-canal treatment, which Dr. Minas performed over three visits. Though I at first was somewhat apprehensive, I believe Dr. Minas is well trained, highly skilled & experienced in this complicated procedure, and I am very pleased with the result - he saved my tooth. The fee compares well with what other clinics charge for the same treatment. Having recently moved to Larnaca & finding myself in sudden need of a dentist, I was recommended Dr. Minas by several friends. Even though I was not a previous patient of Dr. Minas, he received me just a day after I called for an appointment. The clinic is modern & well equipped, and is centrally located & easily accessible. The waiting room is light & spacious, with a TV & an aquarium to calm the nerves, as well as a selection of reading material. The staff is polite, friendly & welcoming, while maintaining a professional attitude.

Rating from 14 Reviews The procedure was done in a professional way to my fullest satisfactionMohammad, Geneva, 23 Aug 17

I found the clinic of Dr. Antoniou online and was impressed with the positive comments written by other patients. Dr. Antoniou responded quickly to my email. I had a bridge of four crowns, as well as a cleaning and four fillings. All of the work was done within two weeks suited to my vacation in Cyprus in a professional way to my fullest satisfaction. The clinic is modern and well equipped. Dr. Antoniou and his team were well trained, highly skilled and experienced, friendly, very pleasant and helpful. He studied my case in full detail and consulted with other doctors and technicians in the clinic. The procedure went fine and on schedule, the treatment was wonderful and very professional, and the whole process was painless, carefree and relaxed. The price was reasonable and much cheaper compared to the prices for dental treatment in Switzerland. I would highly recommend Dr. Antoniou and surely return to this clinic for more work.

Dental Implants
What are they? A dental implant is an appliance used to replace the roots of teeth. The implant is surgically attached to the jaw bone and an artificial tooth is attached to the top of the implant, creating a natural looking, undetectable replacement for the missing tooth. In the event that more than one tooth is missing, several implants may provide a base for a series of artificial teeth known as a fixed bridge. Implants can even be used to secure a full set of removable dentures for people who have no remaining natural teeth. This can greatly improve chewing ability and reduce the risk of choking. Advantages: 1. Dental implants with artificial teeth are the closest thing to regrowing your natural teeth. 2. They are strong, stable, durable and virtually undetectable. 3. By filling gaps left by missing teeth, implants can provide better chewing ability and head off jaw joint problems. 4. They are far superior to removable dentures. Disadvantages: 1. Dental implants do require surgery and time to heal. 2. They are initially more expensive than dentures or fixed bridges. Procedure: First appointmentThe dentist will examine your teeth and determine whether implants are the solution to your dental problems, x-rays are necessary to discover the state of the jawbone, particularly if the teeth have been lost for some time. This information can be used to determine whether implants would work for you and, if so, what particular type of implant that would be best for your situation. Second appointmentUnder local anaesthesia, the first step for many implant procedures is the exposure of the bone where the implant is to be made. This is followed by placement of the implant into the exposed jawbone. Implants that are placed in the bone are called endosteal implants and are made of titanium or a titanium alloy because this metal does not adversely interact with biological ti
