Peridontal surgery. Dr. Hernandez is one of the best dentists I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Besides the fact that he is one half to one third less expensive than the dentists in the US, Dr. Hernandez and his brother speak and write in fluent English and received their dental degree from the US. I am going back to Dr. Hernandez for a second round of surgeries on my gums, and I am actually looking forward to the experience. I never thought I would say that about a dentist. He is about as painless as you can get.

Exceeded US standards, electronic X Rays(at no cost) that are not uncomfortable at all. This is by far the best dentist I have been to. Clean, professional, comfortable, friendly & reasonably priced. I had a ridiculous quote from a dentist in New Mexico, encouraging me to get a root canal & crown, cleaning, fillings & gum treatment for $4K. Doctor Rodriguez encouraged porcelain fillings over root canal, crown option (which was not needed), saving a bundle & not to mention keeping teeth.

Yes, the dentists were very professional, the treatment was the least pain I've ever had for a root canal and crown. Turnaround time was less than in the states. They have all the same equipment as my dentist in the states and were trained in the US as well.

Dr Rodolfo Hernandex Valerin was such a pleasure to meet. My father and I were in need of some dental treatment. He responded quickly and I could see from the start it was going to be a good experince. My father was quoted five thousand US for two root canals and crowns. The Doctor quoted us eleven hundred US. My father and I were surprised the clinic was modern as you would get any where in the states. Everything went very well. On time and on bugdet. I can not say anything negative about the doctor or his staff.

I had my whole mouth refurbished: 9 root canals, 18 crowns and 6 veneers. The dentist and the facilities are up to par with any dentist I have visited in America. The total cost including two airline tickets and 4-star hotel did not exceed $15,000. Minimum I was quoted in America was between $35,000 and $40,000.

We were both very pleased with our treatment. The doctors and their staff were very pleasant and professional. There was a very friendly atmosphere in the the clinic which was immaculate. They have the latest in hi-tech equipment and they both performed superior work at a very affordable price. We were highly pleased by the lack of pain we experienced after having many procedures done in the same day. I saw our family dentist today for a routine exam, and he was very impressed by the work that was done. He said he would be pleased to refer patients to Symmetry based on the work he saw.

I am very pleased with the results of the work done by dr Rodolfo. They were very gentle and took all the time I asked of them to answer questions etc. I felt as though I was in the care of a friend...............NOT like the average medical professional like you encounter here in the USA.

My husband, Jon, and I both had extensive dental treatment at Symmetry Dental. Both Dr. Rodolfo and Dr. Roberto Hernandez were very friendly as were all members of their staff. They demonstrated a very high degree of professionalism and we both were greatly impressed with them and their Clinic which was spotlessly clean, bright and inviting. One thing that was a happy surprise was the lack of pain we experienced on the days following a full day in the dentist chair! We highly recommend Symmetry Dental and Doctors Hernandez and plan a return trip within the next few months for additional treatment.

Yes, everyone there was very nice and professional. The place was clean and comfortable. I had alot of dental work done and they did a very good job and the prices were very decent as well.

Dr. Rodolfo was pleasant, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was quoted & charged a very reasonable price. He continues to invest in excellent equipment and I was pleased with my procedure (a porcelain molar crown). The clinic is in a pleasant are of San Jose, near the major university.

This was my first experience with dental treatment outside of the U.S. I was very pleased with the professionalism, communication, friendliness with both Dr's Hernandez and their wonderful staff members. The quality of work (excellent) and the timeliness (considering the relatively short stay in Costa Rica) was as good, if not better than in the U.S. Highly recommended!!!

I actually only planed on getting 2 or 3 crowns, and the rest back in Boston (USA). However, after a thorough dental exam from both Hernandez Brothers, and their patience in explaining the pros and cons of different treatment possibilities and answering all my questions... I felt totally comfortable having them fix everything. I had extensive work done. 6 full crowns, 6 root canals, and a 3tooth bridge!
In Boston, a previous root canal would take 3-4 hours per tooth. Dr Hernandez did all 6 in about 3-4 hours. This pain free procedure was checked and re-checked to be sure all the nerve was removed.
I got the same care when they fitted my crowns several days latter. Each up and down was carefully, and patiently fitted just so, before the next crown was placed.
I never felt a dentist be so attentive, patient nor skillful.
And I saved about $10,000 from my US estimate !!!
