Dr. Neil J. Gajjar Associates & Specialists

Dr. Neil J. Gajjar was born in Newfoundland and graduated with honours from the Stephenville Integrated High School. He was awarded the University of Toronto National Book Award, the Principal’s Shield, the Governor General’s Medal, and the Lion’s Club Scholarship, along with being named Valedictorian, Student of the Year and a Canadian Scholar.

Dr. Gajjar went on to complete his degree in chemistry at the University of Toronto, where he made the Dean’s list and was named a Faculty Scholar. His Doctor of Dental Surgery degree was completed in Washington D.C., where he was awarded the Teachers of Oral Diagnosis Award.

Dr. Gajjar has successfully completed the American Dental Association National Boards Part I and Part II, and the National Dental Examining Board of Canada Exams. He is currently licensed with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario. He attended Vaughan Secondary School, where he graduated with honors in 2002. He then went to Michigan to pursue his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Ferris State University, where he was named to the Dean’s list. Dr. Patel applied to dental school and was awarded early admission to the University of Detroit Mercy after completing three years of undergraduate education.

Dr. Patel has successfully completed his National Dental Examination Board of Canada’s written and Objective Structured Clinical Examination, as well as Part 1 and 2 of the American Dental Association National Boards.

Dr. Shora graduated in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the School of Dentistry at University of Toronto in 2007. She also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Bapuji Dental College in India in 1997.

Dr. Shora has been practicing dental surgery for a number of years, and has worked in India and the Middle East. She has attended various continuing education programs at the Universities of Toronto, Western Ontario and Southern California. She also continues to actively participate in new dental education courses and workshops. Dr. Shora is also certified for Nitrous Sedation procedures through the University of Toronto.
