Now you dont have to worry about the wait, you can get quality restorations the same day with the CEREC system. What is the CEREC system? The CEREC system is made by Sirona, a pioneering company in dental technology. It is a state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) platform consisting of three parts: An optical camera that creates a 3-D digital impression of your teeth, rather than the plaster or other manual impressions dentists used in the past. A CAD terminal that allows the dentist to design the restoration, while the computer calculates a precise set of manufacturing instructions to ensure that the restoration fits perfectly in your mouth. A CAM mill where diamond bits sculpt ceramic hybrid blocks into the precise shapes designed by the dentist using the CAD terminal. The CEREC system is a compact marvel of modern technology.  Every component is a marvel, from the reflective optical powder used to aid the digital imager to the detailed CAD system to the precisely controlled robotic arms in the diamond mill.
