Dentists Rio De Janeiro

I live in Denmark. We also have good dentists here. They are pricy though. And, that's why I started searching for a trustworthy dentist to check on my oral health as well as aesthetics. I was considering veneers. I was planning 2 weeks holiday to Rio, so I read many reviews of local dentists and tried to get as much information as I could about the procedures I was dreaming about: that perfect smile, without looking fake. That's how I found Dr. Rowan Vilar. Highly recommended by a previous Danish patient. I decided to write to Dr. Rowan. The first thing that I liked about him it was the quick reply to my inquiring. He provided lots of information and the same week we scheduled our first Zoom consultation. I noticed that he was not in a hurry. With time and care, he provided again more in-depth information with PDFs and links. A scanning was made in Denmark to give him a better idea of my teeth situation. Then, we had a second Zoom consultation. This time, I received a lecture of what was going on in my mouth and what we could do about to fix it, if I decided to proceed with treatment in his office. I felt secure that I would be in good hands. And now, my smile tells me I was/am. In Rio, great office located in Ipanema beach, just a few meters from the metro. The front desk staff, assistants and other doctors made me feel right at home immediately. Everything was on time. In two weeks, I treated 2 canals, changed several old silver fillings for resin and put veneers on the upper teeth. Yes, I still had time to enjoy my vacation in Rio. I'll be back to get my lower teeth done next vacation. Oh yes! It's much cheaper than in Denmark.

Dr. Barreto is a treat. Talented dentist, a wonderful communicator (yes, she speaks English), and very professional. Highly recommended.
