What are the types of orthodontic treatments? Braces – Traditional metal or modern ceramic brackets are attached to each tooth and an archwire is threaded through. Unlike traditional braces which are attached to the teeth, plates can be taken in and out of the mouth.

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of tooth colored porcelain that can be chemically bonded to the tooth to hide any aesthetic issues such as cracked, broken, chipped, discolored, or slightly misaligned teeth. They are more conservative than crowns and can be used on strong and healthy teeth to improve their appearance. Two appointments will be necessary to prepare the teeth and fit the veneers.
