Dentist Consultation

We like to take the time to discuss your current oral health with you and any treatment recommendations. Either at your first visit or at a separate appointment, we will review the radiographs, models and other findings so that you are aware exactly of the condition of your general oral health. We will also outline what we consider to be the best suitable management or alternatives ranging from general dentistry (eg. restorations, nightguard) to cosmetic dentistry (eg. crown, veneer, implant, bleaching/whitening) for you to achieve a good state of oral health.

We are here not only to manage your oral problems but also to assist you to maintain a good state of oral health by implementing a continuing care program.

If you have more than a missing tooth in the same arch (eg. upper or lower jaw) and you want to have an economical method to replace missing teeth without compromising long term benefits, a denture may be the solution for you. This involves outside laboratory technicians to make a well fitting and aesthetically pleasing denture and requires five to six visits.

Emergency Dentist Consultation

We endeavor to assist patients who require urgent dental care as quickly as possible. We set aside one or two appointment sessions for emergency patients.

Commonly known as a composite or composite resin, this is a soft material that sets under a light/curing light (blue light). It is ideally used on teeth with small defects, caries/decay or chips, by being placed directly onto the prepared surface of the teeth. Restoration done with this material normally requires a single appointment unless there is a prior arrangement with us.

Inlay or Onlay

These are normally used for 1) a large cavity which has a poor prognosis/outcome from using ordinary tooth colored filling or 2) when Root canal therapy has been performed through a tooth with a crown. As a result, the access hole is covered with the same material as the crown. Two visits are required.

Teeth Whitening

We do Internal tooth whitening (internal bleaching). This is normally recommended when the tooth is non-vital after the root canal treatment. The bleaching agent is put in the prepared inner cavity of the tooth and sealed. Depending on whether we are happy with the result, this procedure can be repeated or stopped and finalized with tooth color filling.

Home Whitening Kits

If you are not satisfied with the shade or color of your teeth, using home-bleaching trays with bleaching gels would be very handy for you. You then have complete control of the shade of your teeth, as you can bleach your teeth whenever or for how long you like. It requires two visits as we need to involve outside laboratory technicians to make bleaching trays.
