I am so pleased with my experience with Dental Square Argentina that I just have to share that with others who may need help with their teeth while in Buenos Aires! When I arrived in BA for a 5-week stay, I had just completed two root canals with my long-time dentist in NYC. Unfortunately, the long flight and some personal stresses had resulted in some rather severe tooth pain. Since my Spanish is "muy malo", I searched online for an English-speaking dentist. Natalia, the office manager at Dental Square Argentina, was quick to respond the next day. She was obviously concerned about my situation and arranged for an appointment that very evening. It was very reassuring to arrive at the office with Natalia even waiting at the door to greet me! She calmly explained the process, as that is a little different than in the U.S. Then, within several minutes, I was off to see the wonderful Dr. Maria Rubi Casares. Dr. Casares was so nice and professional, I almost could have cried with relief. She already had reviewed the x-rays sent by my NYC dentist, confirming that nothing was clinically wrong. She went on to say that the issue most likely was inflammation of the underlying ligaments due to constant use of the teeth - which had been exacerbated by stress. Explaining as she went along, Dr. Caseras then proceeded to remove some of the temporary tooth surfaces to reduce contact until crowns can be placed back in NYC. She also prescribed high doses of ibuprofen to reduce the swelling. I feel so much better. All that...and the cost was extremely fair and reasonable. The professionals at Dental Square Argentina treated my emergency with such understanding, skill and compassion - I highly recommend their services for anyone seeking a dentist in Buenos Aires!

After conferring with 4 other dentists I finallly decided on Dental Square and was totally pleased with the treatments, both professionally and socially. I was attended by Dra. Rubi Casseras as well as 2 other specialists with all of whom I was very pleased. I felt as though all were genuinely interested in my long term well being as well as my immediate comfort. They re-arranged their schedules to accommodate my cramped schedule and were very fair in pricing. Here is the long list of tteatments that I had done at Dental Square:
1. Removal of 4 old crowns
2. 4 root canals @ 600 pesos each
3. 2 extractions @ 550 pesos ea.
4. 1 cleaning @250 pesos
5. 2 metal onlays @ 1200 pesos ea.
6. 3 metalic posts @ 300 pesos ea.
7. 4 porcelain crowns with metal base @ 900 pesos ea.
8. 1 bridge with metal base for 3 teeth = 2600 pesos
9. Surgical fee with bone graft and BioGuide membrane $935. US
10. Second gum surgery $400. US
All prices were true to the original estimates with no charge for consultation.

My denstist is Dr Maria Rubi Casares Guillen from Dental Square, her sister\receptionist provided a detailed email answering my question and she offers free initial consultation. I got an one hour teeth cleaning, three natural color fillings and she was nice enough to see me 9 in the morning when office normally opens at 10 as thats the only time it could work for me. I wasn´t super sure about getting dental service away from home, but so far everything seems to be working out very well. She arranged to have a specialist come in today to perform wisdom teeth extraction on me as well (two lower ones). I believe there are other patients who comes in a for variety of dental work, and she arranges for other specialist come in if they are needed.
