I cannot rate Aida and her colleagues highly enough. From start to finish, they have all been incredible and having needed to have a full mouth removal, bone graft and implants top and bottom, I visited Tirana a couple of times and on top of the wonderful team at Zeus Dental Clinic, Tirana is a wonderful city. The people are welcoming, and the welcome I received was one of the best I have received worldwide. The value when it comes to the cost of having this work done over that of the UK was outstanding. I will be eternally grateful to the team for giving me the smile I had wanted for 40 years. If you are thinking of going and cannot make up your mind, make the choice to use these wonderful people; you will not regret it.

I chose this dental clinic in Tirana after seeing strong online reviews and promotional photos of their work. Unfortunately, my experience did not match the expectations created by the information presented online, and I later experienced functional complications following the treatment.

During my visit, composite veneers were placed. After the procedure, I experienced problems with my bite that caused discomfort and pain. The lower teeth appeared to be shaped incorrectly, and the spacing between the teeth did not seem consistent with what another dentist later described as standard dental spacing.

Due to the bite issues and discomfort, I sought an assessment from another dentist. During that consultation, I was advised that the veneers would need to be removed to avoid potential gum health problems. As a result, the veneers were removed and corrective treatment was required.

The clinic’s position was that the treatment had not yet been completed, and that the final result would have been assessed once the process was finished. However, from my perspective, the bite issues and functional discomfort were already present following the first session.

The clinic did refund the cost of the initial veneer treatment, which I appreciated. However, they declined to cover the additional €1100 that I had to pay for corrective dental work that was recommended after the veneers were removed.

For patients who may be considering travelling internationally for dental treatment, my advice would be to carefully confirm the treatment plan, expectations, and the stages involved in the procedure beforehand, and to ensure that both functional and aesthetic outcomes are clearly discussed prior to starting treatment.
