Breast Augmentation
The breast augmentation procedure itself typically takes between one and two hours to perform, along with an additional two hours spent in recovery. Breast augmentation may be performed through different incisions, with the three most common being around the areola, underneath the breast, and in the armpit. Once the incisions are made, the breast tissue is lifted and a pocket created for insertion of the implant. The implant may be placed either underneath the breast tissue itself or underneath the pectoral muscle. The implants are then centered beneath the nipples and the incisions are sutured closed. Dr Polynice prefers to place the implants under the muscle because this gives the augmented breast a much more natural appearance and feel. Also placing the implants under the muscle does not interfere with mammograms.

Facelift
Facelift surgery may be performed at the William's Center in Latham (Albany area), in an outpatient surgical center or a hospital and typically takes a couple hours to perform. Either local anesthesia and sedation or general anesthesia may be used. The incision usually begins at the temples within the hairline then extends in a natural line along the edge of the inner part of the ear and behind the earlobe to the lower scalp. An additional small incision is made under the chin. Once the incisions are made, the skin is separated from the underlying fat and muscle. The muscles are tightened and fat is trimmed or suctioned from around the neck and chin. The skin is then pulled back, the excess removed, and the incisions closed.

Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty typically takes between one and two hours to complete and may be performed in an outpatient surgical center, or a hospital. The surgery may be performed with either a combination of local anesthesia and sedation or with general anesthesia. The incisions may be confined to the inside of the nose, which is referred to as closed rhinoplasty. Other times an additional small incision is made on the underside of the nose between the nostrils, which is known as open rhinoplasty. Once the incisions are made, the skin of the nose is lifted from the underlying bone and cartilage. The bone and cartilage are then sculpted to a more pleasing shape, the skin is pulled back down, and the incisions are closed.

Abdominoplasty
A full Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure which addresses the entire stomach area. Fat and excess skin is removed during the outpatient procedure. The procedure, sometimes called a power tuck, also tightens loose abdominal muscles. For many people this is a great choice following weight loss and child birth. The incision line will run below your underwear but will extend across your entire pelvic bone. During the Abdominoplasty a new belly button will be formed and any stretch marks below your current belly button will be removed.

Treatment for Wrinkles
Treatment for wrinkles Cosmetic injections are simple procedures that take place in a medical office such as the Williams Rejuva Center. They are administered as a very low dose with a few tiny injections directly into the specific facial muscles responsible for wrinkles and lines. This is a simple procedure that takes about ten minutes per area treated. Due to the minimal discomfort involved, no anesthesia is required, although ice is used to briefly numb the injection site
