Dr Eliza Jasmine Tran

M.D. is a native of Orange County who practices Plastic Surgery with a focus on the treatment and reconstruction of breast cancer. She won a merit-based University of California Regents’ Scholarship to attend UC Berkeley where she graduated with a B.A. degree in Molecular & Cell Biology. She earned her medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine, where she was inspired to provide reconstructive surgical care for breast cancer patients. After completing General Surgery residency at UC San Francisco-Fresno, Dr. Tran was accepted to the prestigious Multidisciplinary Breast Surgery Fellowship at Yale University. She then went on to Tulane University, where she received training in the full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In addition to breast reconstruction, using either implants or a patient’s own tissues, her reconstructive areas of expertise include the head & neck, upper and lower extremities, as well as facial trauma. Dr. Tran also has great interests in rhinoplasty, facelift, breast augmentation, and mommy make-over operations. Throughout all her education and training, Dr. Tran participated in numerous basic science and clinical research projects; presented her work at national meetings; and published in well-respected journals including the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
