NOSE London is a specialist rhinoplasty and nasal surgery practice led by Mr David Whitehead, Consultant ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon, based at 9 Harley Street, London W1G 9QY.
Mr Whitehead is one of very few UK surgeons who combines full ENT surgical training with a dedicated facial plastic surgery fellowship. This dual expertise means he understands both the form and function of every nose — how it looks and how it breathes. He is Board Certified in Cosmetic Surgery of the Face, Nose, Periorbital Region and Ears by the Intercollegiate Board of the Royal College of Surgeons, one of the most rigorous cosmetic surgery credentials available in the UK.
His training includes a rhinology fellowship at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust under Professor Tim Woolford, followed by a facial plastic surgery fellowship in Istanbul under Professor Özcan Çakmak, accredited by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS). He holds a Master of Science from Imperial College London and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Otolaryngology (GMC: 4372358).

Mr Whitehead specialises in preservation rhinoplasty, an advanced technique that maintains the natural structural framework of the nose rather than removing and rebuilding it. This approach typically results in less swelling, faster recovery, and a more natural-looking outcome. He uses ultrasonic piezo instruments for precise bone work without trauma to surrounding tissues.
Every patient receives 3D photographic surgical planning using Vectra imaging technology, allowing you to visualise and agree on your goals before surgery.
