Mr Khalid Ali is a leading expert in the field of Rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery. Mr Ali is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) & Facial Plastic Surgeon. He has trained at leading medical institutions across the globe and has been a practising consultant and surgeon for over 25 years. He is on the specialist register of consultants with the General Medical Council.
Dr Ali’s practices are located at the world's prestigious Harley Street in London, and at the Spire Manchester Hospital in Manchester.
Mr Khalid Ali has a special interest in Rhinoplasty (Nose Job) for cosmetic and functional needs. He has extensive experience in Rhinoplasty surgery which he has fine-tuned his approach during his career and has been performing this for over 23 years using both the open approach to address nasal tip cosmetic conditions and nasal bony part and the closed approach.
Mr Ali has developed great interest and skills in Cosmetic Ear Surgery (Ear pinning, Otoplasty), Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) & other Facial Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
Mr Ali is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the British Rhinology Society and the European Rhinology Society.
Mr Ali is a member of the American Rhinologic Society.
Mr Ali has completed postgraduate training at centres of excellence throughout the UK and abroad. He is recognised by the Fellowships of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) in London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow which qualifies him as a senior surgeon.
He further completed a higher degree in the Fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) in London.
Mr Ali is European Board certified in Otorhinolaryngology (EBE ORL-HNS) in Vienna.
In 2017 Mr Ali was awarded the MD Degree (Doctor of Medicine) from the University of Leicester, for his achievement in Medical Research. This is the highest degree a surgeon can achieve.
Mr Ali completed a fellowship in 2009 at the Washington University Hospital USA.
In 2005, Mr Ali obtained a master's degree in surgery from Newcastle University and completed a fellowship in Portland USA.
Mr Ali is actively involved in training the next generation of surgeons. He is involved in auditing, research and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate doctors.
Mr Ali regularly presents his latest research and many published peer-reviewed scientific papers in his specialist field at international medical conferences. He has been invited to speak at several national and international courses.
