Dr.Emir Doğan - Oculoplastic Surgery

Myself and my boyfriend both just returned from Antalya after having Lense Replacement surgery performed by Dr Dogan. We are so very happy with the results! Neither of us has ever been able to see so clearly before, even wearing our glasses. The procedure is pain-free, but it is scary of course as you are aware of what is happening. Also, it is half the price of the same treatment here in the UK. So great value

I do say though, Book your hotel, the hotel we were in (The Afsin Hotel) was very basic with the tiniest balcony overlooking a pool that was closed and full of green swamp water..why did they put us in a room-looking over that scruffy pool area I do not know, it was awful.
That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of a 5-star rating.
I would recommend it.

I cannot recommend Dr Emir and his team enough. A lower Blepharoplasty which was excellent value and a straightforward procedure thanks to a skilled Doctor, with great aftercare by Dr Emir himself. Two years on I'm still delighted with the surgery.

I wish to begin this review with a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Dogan and his staff! While this review is primarily in reference to the cataract/lens replacement surgery I just received, it is important to note that I underwent an oculoplastic procedure last year with Dr. Dogan. I was completely pleased with that surgery, and it was the compelling reason for choosing Dr. Dogan for my lens replacement.

My lens surgery was conducted at the highest standard of care. For others who might be considering Dr. Dogan for medical procedures, I am pleased to provide him my full recommendation. All aspects of my procedure were attended to with thoughtfulness, skill and professionalism.

I am a birdwatcher and amateur bird/wildlife photographer. I have been aware of my emergent cataract issue for a few years, but it really became noticeable this past year while travelling in Colombia. As a 64-year-old, I had significant myopia and required reading glasses. I have used progressive lens glasses in the past, but found them less than satisfactory to use with my binoculars and camera; particularly, since my bird subjects are constantly on the move. Now, with the trifocal interocular lenses, I don't need glasses at all!

In terms of value and standard of care, I have been extremely pleased. The analytical/assessment equipment used and the Alcon PanOptix lenses I received were state-of-the-art. My limited insurance vision coverage in the USA would only have covered a percentage of monofocal lenses and the surgery with no coverage for the after-surgery medications. Just the eyedrops (one of three eyedrop prescriptions provided at no extra charge) would have cost me $1000 in the USA! For trifocal lens surgery for both eyes with aftercare and prescriptions, I would have been out nearly $15,000 in the USA. My cost with Dr. Dogan was less than 20% of that.

The trifocal lenses mean I am able to enjoy birding and photography at a level I have never known up until now. Thank you again Dr. Dogan, for splendid lens replacement and oculoplastic care. YOU ARE THE BEST!!

Both me and my wife had lens replacement surgery which was undertaken by Dr Emir and I have to say from start to finish the process was seamless with fantastic results. We both used to wear glasses for reading and distance but don't need either anymore. We were well looked after, all transport to and from appointments is taken care of by their own drivers and all of our questions pre-operation were answered with no problems. We have to put eye drops in for three weeks on a daily basis as part of the aftercare. We needed to stay in a local hotel called the Pacco and at this time the staff could not do enough for us. Thanks again to Dr Emir and his staff they are legends.

Amazing results. I had upper and lower eye bag removal back in March.
Obviously I was apprehensive as I booked the treatment in the UK without even meeting Dr Dogen. There was no need to worry at all. I was collected from my hotel by a lovely guy called Ercument, who put me at ease and helped me settle into the clinic, where the whole team was positive, friendly and professional. Nurse Irem was tenderness helped me to relax. The results are amazing, thank you so much Emir.

I had lower blepharoplasty on both eyes 3 months ago, my eyes have now healed and I am very happy with the result! Dr Dogan even took out some overhanging skin on my right eye too. I felt taken care of every step of the way - Dr Dogan regularly checked in with me after the operation to make sure I was healing ok, and during the surgery, his team seemed genuinely happy while working, which was really comforting. His driver is also really kind and fun to spend time with. I feel like I made a really good decision with this. Thanks for everything!

My New Life. I had both my lenses replaced and now I have a whole new life. Emir Dogan and his team are so professional and caring, from the moment we arrived until the time we left they ensured we were comfortable, happy and well informed. Emir is a talented surgeon and explains every part of the process, which makes the time fly by whilst you're being operated on. His confidence and professionalism is evident from the time you arrive and meet him.

My operations only took 20 mins each eye and Emir insisted on staggering them two days apart. He was very careful to make sure I was comfortable in the operating theatre and ensured I wasn't in any pain, he carefully explained each procedure prior to everything he did. As soon as he slid the new lenses into place I could see. Emir asked me to keep my eye patch on overnight and gave me a schedule for my eye drops for the following three weeks.

When I took my eye patch off the following morning I could instantly see clearly. I had very little pain the following day and the drops Emir gave me helped to calm the smallest of pain. He has an open and friendly manner and is willing to answer any questions or quell any fears you might have. The clinic is spotlessly clean and super well run. All areas are professionally organised and everyone cares about you and your well being.

I had both my lenses changed 3 weeks ago and I have had no issues. Emir told me what to expect and he was spot on, all my medications were provided and the follow ups after my procedures were first class. I thoroughly recommend Emir Dogan and his team. Thank you for changing my life.

Whilst in Turkey I looked up clinics that offered eye lift blepharoplasty surgery. Dr Emir Doğan had over 50 excellent reviews and was only 15 minutes away from where I was staying. There was a guy staying in my hotel who had lower eye surgery and when I asked him where he had gone, it was Dr Doğan's clinic. I took a taxi to Dr Doğan's clinic and he saw me within an hour for a consultation. He said he could do it that week and that it would only take one hour and that I would stay awake.

I was frightened about staying awake but Dr Doğan assured me I wouldn't feel a thing and I didn't. I am so impressed with the results and it has only been two weeks. Dr Doğan provided excellent aftercare and has stayed in touch since returning to the UK. This is definitely the Dr to go to if you want perfect, painless surgery. Price was 4 times cheaper than the quote I received in the UK. I recommend Dr Emir Doğan 100%.

I decided at the last minute to ask about eye bag removal as these have been a problem for me since I had lens replaced surgery and I no longer wear glasses (thank goodness), all of a sudden I was spending a fortune on creams and all these treatments that promised to reduce them. Ha ha nothing worked. Next step, Dr Emir and my eyes today are great 3 weeks only after the operation. Brilliant I would recommend him to everyone.

I recently had a successful lower blepharoplasty surgery done at Dr Emir Doğan's Clinic in Antalya. It couldn't have gone better as Dr Emir Doğan was amazing and the nurses. I had a good few hours stay at the clinic for the surgery and I am pleased with my result. Also, great aftercare during my stay in Antalya and follow up after arriving back in the U.K is brilliant. Wow what can I say!! Dr Emir Dogan is absolutely amazing at what he does! I could not possibly be any more delighted with my new eyelids, they are unreal! His care and patient compassion is second to none, even now 2 months later Dr Emir still checks in to make sure everything is ok! The whole experience from start to finish has been exceptional!!
