Meeting the surgeon, I was shown on a TV monitor before and after pictures of other people who have had this operation. I went to the hospital (with my husband) and we were given a private room where we both had a bed. I was prepared and taken to the theatre where the full team were very kind, explained again what they would be doing. After the operation a full team of nurses were on hand, checking every 1/2 hour on my dressing, temperature and blood pressure. The following day I was checked by the surgeon and within the hour was discharged. I was given a prescription for all the antibiotics and painkillers. 4 days later an appointment with the doctor and the drips were removed, dressings changed and a compression corset was put on, this made movement a lot easier. While this whole procedure was not painful it was a little sore, but after the drips were removed I was very much able to move without any problems. This whole process has been very professional with the utmost care and advice from the whole team, with the knowledge I can call the surgeon, Dr Valverde for any help or advice. I would recommend Valverde and Arpino without any hesitation.
