Breast Reduction

I travelled to Poland for a breast reduction and lift and everything was arranged for me. flights hotels even a personal assitant was on hand. I was nervous about going abroad but i needn't have been as the hospital was lovely, ulktr modern and clean and I was well cared for. I would recommend Secret Surgery to anyone as it was trouble free from start to finish.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

The treatment I received with Secret Surgery Ltd. was excellent I have just returned from having a full Tummy tuck with muscle repair, the surgery has exceeded my expectations the price was clear from the beginning and actually cost less than quoted as I didn't need lipo. when the Doctor examined me, after speaking to Angela from secret surgery all my doubts were gone as she was honest about what to expect and as she has had treatment herself she can accurately explain all aspects of the Hospital and surgical procedure.

Would you recommend the clinic?

I was Treated with care and respect at all times, when required an English speaking member of staff was with me but quite a few nurses could understand English, I have no hesitation in recommending this Hospital.

Would you return for further treatment?

My experience was all positive and I would definitely return for further surgery in fact I fully intend to as soon as finances allow, now I have found such a good surgeon who I trust completely it will take the strain out of booking future proceedures as I know totally what to expect. The other thing worth mentioning is there is no hard sell I was left to make the decision in my own time once I had the initial quote.

This surgery consists of tightening and smoothing the skin of your face and neck in the temporal, pre-aural, post-aural and occipital areas. What Happens when i have a Labiaplasty procedure?

Labiaplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that reduces the size of the inner lips of the vulva (labia minora) so that they are smaller than the outer lips (labia majora). But what actually occurs during this process?

Amputation is the original (and most simplistic) method. The surgeon simply cuts the labia minora down to a smaller size with either a scalpel or a laser: if a scalpel was used, the surgeon will then stitch the edge. The main drawback of this technique is that the natural edge of the labia is replaced by a scar, creating an unnatural appearance. There is also a high risk of nerve damage 1-7.

Otoplasty

Correction of prominent ears is a brief procedure. It is performed with local anaesthesia and consists of suitable incision behind the auricle, in order to expose the cartilage. After the cartilage is thinned, it is re-modelled. The surgeon then applies dissoluble stitches and a special dressing.

Performing Otoplasty under local anaesthesia allows patients to leave the hospital on the day of the surgery. The  itself incurs no pain, but after the surgery concludes,  patient can feel pain and discomfort in treated area for 2-3 days; this can be controlled by painkillers.

It is very important to pay special attention to the reactions of ones own body in the first four weeks. Even if there are no symptoms of previous operation, you should should avoid extreme, atmospheric conditions. As is the case with all procedures, there is a risk of infection, bleeding, permanent tensions and the creation of scars or swelling. Final result of the surgery are visible after one month.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is the name given to nose surgery, a popular operation that improves the appearance and proportion of a patients nose. Which is not to say the procedure is simply driven by vanity; such operations can also rectify problems with breathing. The best candidates for undergoing the surgery are people with either:

  •  Nose injuries

  •  Problems with breathing/deviated septum

  •  Disproportions in: nose size, width, profile (e.g. a demonstrable hump), tip, nostrils

  •  Nasal asymmetry

During a private consultation with our expertthe best nose surgery procedure for you will be discussed, and the surgeon will explain exactly how the treatment works. Depending on your needs during the rhinoplasty, the gristle part or/and bone part of the nose may be corrected.

After the rhinoplasty you will wear a special bandage-plaster which secures the nose (for about 7-10 days afterwards) in place. During the surgery, meanwhile, the  inserts special tampons in the nose, and these will remain inserted for the first 2-3 days after the procedure.

After the surgery concludes bruising and swelling may occur, and such symptoms can worsen during first few days after the rhinoplasty. On the day following the procedure youll have to stay in bed with your head lifted up. Cold compresses will be applied to reduce the swelling and hematomas. The healing of the nose can take up to one year, but the results are long-lasting.

Like all medical operations, each  procedure carries a risk. In the case of rhinoplasty, there is a risk of infection, excessive bleeding, creation of scars and hematomas. R

Tummy Tuck

Gastric Band

The gastric band which is sometimes also called a lap band is ideal for patients with a BMI over 30. It is a long term weight loss solution for those who are chronically overweight or obese.

The gastric band procedure is conducted via keyhole surgery, which uses several small incisions rather than one long one. The procedure takes about an hour and will require patients to stay overnight in the hospital. Recovery from gastric band surgery is about two weeks.

The gastric band is a hollow ring that surgeons wrap around the stomach. It is filled with fluid which tightens the ring and reduces the capacity of the stomach. It also slows the rate at which food can be digested.

The gastric band can be adjusted throughout the lifetime of the patient to accommodate more or less food as the patient and surgeon see fit.

Because of the customisability of the gastric band, it is considered to be one of the best weight loss methods as long term solution.

Gastric Bypass

A gastric bypass is the most complex and invasive of the three procedures. It effects both the stomach and small intestine. The gastric bypass is most frequently recommended for those with a BMI of 30 or over. The procedure is a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle which requires dieting, exercise, and daily dietary supplements. 

During gastric bypass surgery, the stomach is portioned off to reduce its ability to hold large amounts of food. The small intestine is also re-routed to prevent the full absorption of consumed foods.

This combination procedure is the most invasive of the three forms and will require up to six weeks of recovery time. It also has the most drastic results, patients can loose as much as 80% of their excess weight. 

The gastric bypass does holds more health risks than the other procedures. Those with medical disorders that could make surgery risky, may not qualify for the gastric bypass. Patients who receive the surgery must take dietary supplements for the rest of their life.

In September 2009 Angela had lost 10 stone through Gastric Bypass surgery and didn’t want to wait the 2 years for the plastic surgery she need on the NHS. Angela then spent 3 to 4 months search out all the options including surgery in the UK and abroad.


Angela started to feel like a number in the whole process; met many ‘sharks’ and sales consultants before stumbling across a wonderful clinic in Poland who were prompt in responding, extremely courteous and actually understood my needs as a patient.


The main concerns for Angela about having surgery abroad were:

  • No point of contact in the UK
  • You didn’t know anyone who had been there
  • Very little information available on clinic review websites
  • I had to book flights and hotels separately
  • I didn’t want a ‘cheap second rate procedure’
