Rhinoplasty is the name given to nose surgery, a popular operation that improves the appearance and proportion of a patients nose. Which is not to say the procedure is simply driven by vanity; such operations can also rectify problems with breathing. The healing of the nose can take up to one year, but the results are long-lasting. Like all medical operations, each  procedure carries a risk.
