Dr. Konstantinos Georges is a highly experienced plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon with an international background spanning Greece, Italy, and Sweden. Born in Athens in 1981 and originally from Corinth, he has built a distinguished medical career focused on advanced reconstructive techniques, oncological surgery, and aesthetic plastic surgery. Dr. Georges studied medicine at the University of L’Aquila in Italy before relocating to Sweden, where he completed his specialist training in general surgery at NÄL–Uddevalla Hospitals and Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg. During this period, he worked extensively as a general surgeon with a focus on breast oncology, including melanoma and endocrine surgery. Following an invitation from the Plastic Surgery Department at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Dr. Georges further specialised in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Gothenburg. He also developed a subspecialty in gender-affirming surgery, as well as genital and breast reconstruction, gaining significant expertise in complex reconstructive procedures. Dr. Georges has maintained an active academic and research profile throughout his career, with numerous publications and presentations at international conferences in his field. His work has contributed to ongoing advancements in reconstructive and aesthetic surgical techniques. He later joined Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, where he serves as a curator in plastic surgery, a position he continues to hold. Alongside his hospital work, he performs a wide range of reconstructive, oncological, and aesthetic procedures on a daily basis and also practices privately in Stockholm and the Gothenburg region. Dr. Georges has completed and led extensive hands-on and theoretical training programs across Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Serbia, and Singapore, reflecting his global expertise and commitment to surgical education. Today, he is also active in Greece, practising in Athens and Corinth, where he maintains clinics and performs surgery at the Athens Medical Center in Maroussi. Known for his precision, international experience, and dedication to patient care, Dr. Georges continues to deliver advanced surgical solutions tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
