On April 2023, I had a revised rinoplasty for the purpose to refine the bridge and the tip of the nose as well as narrowing its base. After much research on the internet, I ended up choosing Dr. Julio Matias, not only because of his extensive curriculum vitae and his many years of work experience in the field of plastic surgery, but also because of the very positive impression of my visit/consultation with Dr. Julio Matias and his staff, especially his personal assistant Sandra Farausto. Dr. Julio Matias addressed all of my concerns, thoroughly explained the procedure and what to expect. The surgery went well and the recovery was faster than I expected. I am very pleased with the end results and with a natural-looking nose that is in harmony with the face. I could not be any more happier. Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Julio Matias.

I had been dealing with a progressively worsening inguinal hernia for around six years, always putting off getting it fixed because of the high cost involved having it done in the U.S., anywhere other than at the Hernia Center in Rockville, Maryland, 3,000 miles from where we live. Using the internet, we discovered the Allmedica option, in Poland, and decided we could roll the surgery and some priceless sightseeing all into one travel initiative. The decision was one of the best of my life. Not only was the medical attention superlative, but the people there who took us under their wing were incredibly friendly, diligent in their duties and just plain good folks. After I had recovered sufficiently at the B&B Hotel (a great value), my wife and I went on to do the land journey of a lifetime through Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. The whole month-long experience, medical services and airfare included, cost us $3,000 less than what we would have been charged just for the surgery at the hospital in our home town. What's not to love about that?! My happy journey with the IM Clinic started from the moment when I received a message from Aida, my personal patient coordinator. She guided me through the whole process from enquiry to surgery. Thanks to her professional support and fluent English, so I never felt lost. She organised online consultations with Dr Rosell (mammoplasty) and with Dr Beltrán (rhinoplasty) for me. During the online consultations the surgeons answered all my questions, accounted for all my wishes and gave me their professional advice. Aida helped me to choose a surgery date and told me about good accommodation near the clinic which proved to be a very helpful suggestion. The clinic is fully equipped with the latest technology. The room is like a 5star hotel room with IM branded toiletries, internet TV, motorised adjustable bed and an extra sofa bed where your companion may stay in the room with you throughout your entire visit. The food at the clinic's cafe and the room service food was delicious. The clinic's staff was very attentive and professional. My special thanks to Dr Rosell and Dr Beltrán for their brilliant work. I am grateful for them accommodating postoperative examinations before I flew back home. I am glad that I followed their recommendations regarding the details of the surgeries - the results have surpassed my expectations. I feel much happier about my body and my quality of life has also improved thanks to their work. The coordinator Tania, who held my hand when I saw my new nose in the mirror for the first time. She offered to arrange a free aftercare massage and an additional online post-surgery check up with Dr Rosell. The anaesthetist, who was very thorough, informative and comforted me before the surgery. The whole nursing team (especially Maria) who took care of me during and after the surgery. They were all very supportive and friendly, so I felt like I was in professional hands at all times. I'm very happy with the result. I highly recommend IM Clinic in Barcelona.
