Dr. Stipo Matić is a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery with extensive international training and experience in both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic medicine. He graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Medicine in 2011 and, following his internship, moved to London to further his surgical training within the National Health Service (NHS). In 2017, he began his specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, completing training across both Croatia and England. Alongside his surgical training, Dr. Matić pursued advanced education in aesthetic medicine at leading academies in London. In 2019, after two years of intensive study, he became the first Croatian aesthetic physician to obtain a British Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine and one of the first doctors in the United Kingdom to achieve this qualification. He performs a wide range of advanced non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including injectable facial rejuvenation procedures and dermal fillers, as well as his own Signature treatment protocols developed through years of training and clinical experience. In 2018, Dr. Matić established Maticlinic in Zagreb and expanded its presence to the renowned Harley Street medical district in London. Following the completion of his specialist training, he became a certified specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery in 2022. Throughout his training, he continued to work in leading UK plastic surgery centers, including Royal Free Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, Whiston Hospital, and Aintree University Hospital. To further refine his expertise in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Matić completed several prestigious international fellowships. In 2022, he undertook a cosmetic surgery fellowship at Akademikliniken, where he gained extensive experience in facial, breast, body, and intimate aesthetic surgery. The same year, he became the first Croatian surgeon to receive an ISAPS Fellowship from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He completed this fellowship at La Clinic under the mentorship of Dr. Michel Pfulg, focusing on facial, breast, and body contouring procedures. In 2023, he further expanded his expertise through an additional aesthetic surgery fellowship at Kuzbari Clinic. Following the completion of three advanced fellowships in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Matić opened Polyclinic Matić in central Zagreb in 2023. Since 2024, he has also worked at Elanic Clinic and on Harley Street in London, where he focuses on surgical procedures. His primary areas of interest include liposuction, body contouring, breast surgery, and facial aesthetic surgery. Dr. Matić is a member of the General Medical Council, the Croatian Medical Association, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and the Croatian Society for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
