Mr. Richard Bloom completed his training in Plastic Surgery in 2002, which involved rotations to all the major plastic surgery centres in Melbourne: The Alfred, St Vincents, The Royal Children's Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. After postgraduate fellowships in the UK and USA, he has been in full time practice in Victoria, Australia since 2003. Mr. Bloom worked for ten years at the Alfred Hospital, where he was involved in the Victorian Melanoma Service. He also helped establish a multidisciplinary Breast Care Unit at the Alfred Hospital, which combined the expertise of various health professionals to treat patients diagnosed with breast cancer, and to offer them the opportunity for breast reconstruction. With expertise in all areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery, Mr Bloom's particular interests include breast surgery, facial rejuvenation, and body contouring surgery, particulary for patients who have experienced massive weight loss.

Dr Kim Taylor is a specialist plastic surgeon. Her primary interests include breast reconstruction, breast, body and hand surgery (including paediatric hand surgery), skin and general reconstruction. She has also undergone further training in these sub-specialty areas. Kim has received considerable recognition for her work as a plastic surgeon. She won the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Essay Prize in 2008, was the ASAPS Advanced Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship recipient in 2009, and was awarded the ASAPS Best Fellow/Maiden Presentation at the ASAPS Conference in Sydney that same year. Kim was also invited as a foreign scholar to the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons 2010 Breast Surgery Symposium in the USA. In addition, Kim has conducted research into a number of focus areas including paediatric burns, breast cancer surgery, skin grafts, and the treatment of congenital and post-injury hand disorders.
