Podiatric Surgeon FACPS Haydar B. OzcanMr. Haydar B. Ozcan is a Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgeon and fellow of ACPS. He has over 16 years of experience as a podiatrist. Following Podiatry school, Mr. Ozcan completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Science and Exercise at Sydney University in 2000 and completed his Masters in Podiatric Medicine from Curtin University in 2003. His recent achievement of Fellowship to Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeon took him 7 years to attain following his masters degree in Podiatric Medicine. Haydar B. OzcanHe worked at St. George and War Memorial Public Hospitals in NSW and completed his fellowship training at Great Western Hospital (UK) and Podiatry Institute, DeKalb Medical Centre (USA). He is one of the directors of CPSM and works with Mr. Mark Gilheany. He presented his evidence based research papers and case studies on topics such as Interdigital Neuroma Surgery, outcomes of Bunion Surgery and use of external fixators in bone lengthening, and Interpositional arthroplasty techniques for Hallux Rigidus surgery, on national and international circles. He lectures at Podiatry School at University of Western Sydney to undergraduate and Master's Students in subjects related to Neurovascular lower limb disorders and Podiatric Surgery. He is one of the founders of CPSM where he does surgery and gives talks to public and health professionals on variety of topics related to Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He is on the board of Australian Podiatry Association (NSW) and affiliated with American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is married and the father of two boys. He spends most of his weekends working with children and underprivileged families and refugees as part of a community and youth group in Western Sydney area. Dr Mark F. Gilheany

FACPS Mr. Mark F. Gilheany FACPSPodiatric surgeon since 1994. Since completion of post grad qualification and practical training (Fellowship of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons), Mark has limited his area of practice to reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Current practice is based in Melbourne, with a consultancy in Sydney. Throughout career, he had long term involvement with both undergraduate and post graduate podiatry education. He is directly involved in education of podiatric surgeons at a postgraduate level, additionally providing mentoring in both clinical practice and research. Mark is a member of the Muscular Skeletal Research Centre (La Trobe University) and has a specific interest in ‘the measurement of surgical outcomes’ and has undertaken extensive research in this area. Mr. Mark F. Gilheany FACPSAdditionally Mark has an interest and post graduate education in health policy and has acted as a policy advocate for podiatry at a federal and state level over the past 10 years. Throughout his vigorous career he has undertaken educational rotations within surgical units in both the UK and USA. Mark presented over 50 scientific and clinical papers at conferences, presented at numerous workshops and seminars on a range of topics both within Australia and Internationally. He has published in a range of peer review journals on research, policy and clinical topics reflated to foot and ankle pathology.
