Alex Dimopoulos

Biography:
BSc. (SA), M. Chiro. (SA) CCEP DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Alex Dimopoulos has been in private practice for over ten years, having graduated from the Durban Institute of Technology (D.I.T), South Africa with a Masters’ Degree in Chiropractic in 2002, with three Distinctions. He and his wife Gaynor, both with strong British roots, left South Africa and after spending a year in sunny Dublin, moved to the UK in 2004. Alex practiced as an Associate for a number of years at the well-respected Chelsea and Fulham Chiropractic Clinic, and the Spiro Chiropractic and Sports Injury Centre in London, expanding his knowledge and experience in family practice and sports injury management. Whilst searching for a change of environment to start a family, the opportunity to take over the Romsey Chiropractic Clinic presented itself in 2007, and the chance to move to Hampshire was seized.

Alex strongly believes in continuing education and staying current, and has completed various post-graduate studies over the years ranging from Spinal Stabilization programs to Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation, including the CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner) qualification. His focus at the Romsey Chiropractic Clinic is family practice, with a strong interest in managing everyday injuries and strains which result from our stressful modern 21st century environment. The arrival of a beautiful baby daughter in 2008, gave Alex first-hand experience on promoting maximum comfort during pregnancy, and reaffirmed his belief in the benefit of Chiropractic care in reducing mechanical stress on the pregnant frame.

He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry (Natal University-1996

Andrew Harlow

Biography:
BSc.(Hons) M.Chiro. DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Andrew graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, gaining a Master’s degree in Chiropractic. This followed on from his previous undergraduate degree in Human Musculoskeletal Science at the University of Bristol. Though originally from Derbyshire, he decided to stay and work in the South before becoming an Associate here at the Romsey Chiropractic Clinic in 2013

Andrew became interested in Chiropractic after having successful treatment for low back pain as a teenager, and understands the impact that joint and muscle problems can have on everyday life. As such he aims to get people better as quickly as possible, but also emphasises finding out why these problems occur in the first place, in order to maximise recovery and prevent re-occurrences. He uses a variety of techniques, selecting those which are best suited to each individual, and is a strong advocate of exercise and postural awareness.

Anna Wills

Biography:
Anna Wills is a massage therapist with over nine years of clinical experience, and completed her studies at Totton College, Southampton, in 2004. She has been a valued Associate at the Romsey Chiropractic Clinic for the past five years, providing manual therapy in the form of Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage, both to stand-alone clients and as a complementary therapy to Chiropractic patients. She is an active member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists, and is also qualified to administer Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.

Anna strongly believes that massage and the resultant release of muscular adhesion can be extremely useful when combined with Chiropractic care, especially for those long-standing injuries that seem to linger! She employs a range of massage techniques which knead and stretch the muscles and its fascia, promoting better muscle fibre alignment and function and improved circulation.

Anna has successfully worked with some of the top names in British cycling together with Triathletes participating at World Championship standard. Her work has also taken her to Delhi, where she was a member of the musculoskeletal support staff for Team Guyana in the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
