Gabrielle Swait BA DC MMCA MCC
Gabrielle graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 1990. She also has an Oxford University degree in physiology, specialising in neuroscience. She now lectures in neuroscience and clinical neurology to students on the BSc degree course at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic. She is currently undertaking a PhD combining her neuroscience background with chiropractic in a programme of research about the effects of neck pain, and of chiropractic treatment, on eye and head movement control (see ‘our research’), and has delivered lectures on this to MSc physiotherapy students at the University of Birmingham. She has also studied Evidence-based Practice and delivers seminars in this to post-graduate chiropractors.
