I went to see Melanie with a terrible pain in my leg. She is very thorough I had x-rays first to ascertain what exactly was wrong and after several treatments of acupuncture and massages, followed by exercises which Melanie showed me I am now out of pain. I would recommend Melanie to any of my friends without hesitation.

Mr Farrell put me totally at ease, treated me as an intelligent person, explained he was sure pain wasn’t originating in the artificial knee but from lumbar spine. Suggested exercises which “must not hurt be gentle and build up slowly”. Then sent them by email to me. Will be seeing him again this coming Friday ie two weeks from first appointment. From first contact everything was explained, there were no surprises, a smooth process from assessment, treatment plan proposed, delivery of the treatment plan + homework in the form of exercises to do at home. Have returned to swimming which I love. The appointments were worked around my employment schedule. I was surprised the assessment went beyond my presenting issue with a letter for my GP to check something out. Over the years I have spent money on different shoes and trainers I thought would make a difference and various vitamins etc, over the counter creams, personal trainers.
