Some 37 years ago I started having shoulder problems, a work colleague told me about a chiropractor who had solved a back problem for him, so I thought why not give it a try. I was lucky enough to be seen by a lovely young woman who after a few sessions managed to solve the problem, but in doing so also found quite a few more mechanical issues. Fast forward 37 years that very same lady is still treating me and keeping me mobile and helping with pain issues. We’ve both come a very long way together and consider her as a very good friend. In fact, because I’ve been seeing her so long I even get to go on all the staff Christmas parties ( only joking), friendship aside I dread to think how I my life and mobility would be without Jatinder’s amazing treatment.

Chiropractor Consultation  
Initial Consultation This takes about 45 minutes. At your first visit, the chiropractor will take a full and detailed medical history and carry out a thorough physical, orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic examination. Other investigations might also be necessary, such as X-rays or MRI scans. The chiropractor will do what is possible to ease symptoms, but treatment cannot be guaranteed at the first visit. This will depend on the nature of the problem, the acuteness of symptoms on the day and whether x-rays have been taken. If it is appropriate, the chiropractor will treat you.

I had trauma to the brainstem and although rushed to hospital and subject to a barrage of tests (MRI, ECG etc), the staff could not find the cause of my illness. Subsequent visits to different consultants/GPs was also non-helpful. I have since discovered that I have a condition known as PPPD which affects the link between my visual, vestibular balance and other conditions. Dr. Kitchener used different techniques to re-synchronize my brain and body including Gaze treatment. I am now studying Neuroscience, find that her insight was spot on and the latest research data confirms her approach. The hospital/GPs were obsessed with my heart and I have found that it was nothing to do with my illness and caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

I have used Morag in the past where she has successfully treated a neck problem that I had. Therefore she was the first person that I thought of who might be able to help me with my present problems. Due to the Covid19 situation, I was unable to visit Morag for ‘hands-on’ treatment in person. However, I was extremely pleased to receive a phone call from her, where she listened attentively to all of my woes and we then decided to go online and have a Zoom meeting. During this meeting, she gave me a set of 5 exercises to do, to help both my right shoulder and the carpal tunnel problem that I have in my right hand, due to a fall. Morag demonstrated them first herself, I then tried them out and I wrote them down to then try myself for the next two weeks. Already, just one week later, I am feeling so much better! I can move my shoulder better and I can feel the pain subsiding in my wrist. I am positive that things will improve further over the next week, and then I will get back in touch with Morag, to see if it is possible to book an appointment at her studio, depending on the Covid19 situation. I would like to end by saying that Morag is always totally professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. I would certainly recommend trying her first if you have any musculoskeletal problems.
