Biography:

Ben graduated from the prestigious Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth with a Masters in Chiropractic. As well as being in full time practice, he has also been working closely with personal trainers and fitness instructors to develop a Functional Strength Training course. The course will hopefully be available as a CPD for Chiro’s, Osteo’s, Physio’s and Personal Trainers at the start of 2013, and will teach professionals how to functionally assess patients with pain or muscular imbalance, and then train them effectively to meet the unique individual demands of that patient.

Previously he worked as a Personal Trainer for 7 years before graduating and still has a passion for the integration of Chiropractic care and the beneficial effects of exercise, especially strengthening and rehabilitation.

Ben has a great passion for sport and exercise. He has played football from a very young age to a semi-professional standard and still continues to do so. He also enjoys playing squash several times a week and has recently taken up golf. Having a particular enjoyment for adventure holidays, especially being an avid snowboarder and scuba diver.

Ben adopts a ‘patient centred’ approach as a chiropractor, sometimes looking at a problem but more commonly looking beyond it. This will often lead to discovering functional weaknesses and imbalances, which with the right treatment and advice can help patient’s get well and stay well.
