Dr Gavin Gordon

Biography:
B. Sc. (Exercise Physiology), M Chiro. From a young age Gavin played many sports and developed a great enthusiasm for health and fitness. He was particularly interested in tennis, a sport which saw him rise to a junior national ranking and a number one seed at his high school. At a very young age Gavin recognised that the there must be a way to prevent injuries happening in the first place. He watched professional athletes who had the best trainers and facilities continually getting injuries. In grade school he learned that the brain and nervous system controlled everything in the body including all the muscles, joints and even the organs. He realised there must be some way to improve the nervous system and thought that this process was through better training methods. Gavin went on to study a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology and Sport Science. He was hoping that this degree would address his passion of preventative medicine. Unfortunately he soon realised that the most proficient training still resulting in injuries. He found whilst this did reduce injury rates it do not reduce them as much as expected. He now understood that there was something missing.
