Miss Jane Tweddie

Biography:
Principal Chiropractor Jane Tweedie is a graduate of Macquarie University, Sydney with a 3 year Bachelor of Science (Anatomy/Physiology/Biomechanics) and a 2 year Master of Chiropractic qualifications. She is also a fully certified Active Release Technique provider, and proficiency rated in the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique. She provides general and sports chiropractic and has a special interest in overuse and repetitive injuries. Jane has long been associated with sporting organisations on the Central Coast and helps many athletes to keep their bodies fit and strong and performing at their peak. “Chiropractic enhances co-ordination, speed and overall performance and helps with mobility and flexibility”, said Jane. “This is a beneficial principle for EVERYONE, not just athletes. I believe that people in Chiropractic care find it easier, and are much more likely, to take up and keep up regular exercise and other healthy lifestyle practices. Chiropractic care maximizes the body’s strength, co-ordination and energy levels and lessens the chance of injury as it keeps the spine and nervous system working well” Jane uses a combination of techniques including Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) which is particularly effective in releasing scar tissue adhesion as a result of old or chronic injury. She also uses the activator trigger which is a gentle and very specific adjustment tool which many patients prefer to conventional manual adjustment techniques.
