Ms Inger Villadsen

Biography:
Chiropractor

nger Fjord Villadsen was born in Denmark. Her chiropractic studies were commenced at Odense University then completed in Bournemouth, England at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic graduating in 1985. After working for 3 years in Denmark, Sweden and Wales, Inger migrated to Australia and commenced private practice in 1988. Her main clinical interests are the rehabilitation of chronic conditions and the implementation of preventative measures against reoccurrence for patients presenting with back pain. Inger’s practice focus also particularly includes the athletic enhancement of elite performers. Currently these include swimmers, tennis players, dressage equestrians, dancers and musicians. Inger served as the Chairperson of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia’s National Education Committee from 1992-2002 and was instrumental in a decision to commence a third chiropractic programme at Murdoch University in Western Australia. She is the Pacific Representative to the World Federation of Chiropractic’s, WHO Health for All Committee, a position she has held since 1999. Inger was first elected to the Executive of Chiropractic Education Australia in 1991 and continues to serve in that capacity. She was Chairperson of the Hunter Valley Chiropractic Group from 1990-2000. A Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from Newcastle University was completed in 2004. Inger is one of only two instructors certified by Prague’s Motol University in Czech Republic to teach, Dynamic Neuromusculoskeletal Stabilization (DNS) in Australasia and is currently undertaking a second Masters in M.S. Rehabilitation at Murdoch University.

Ms Lotte Hansen

Biography:
Chiropractor

Lotte was born in Brazil but completed her schooling up to tertiary level in Denmark. Her chiropractic studies were undertaken in Bournemouth, England graduating from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1992. Lotte gained work experience in Scotland, establishing her own practice in Aberdeen and later an additional satellite practice in the Shetland Islands. She migrated to Australia in 1997, initially residing and practicing in Newcastle then later in Launceston, Tasmania. Lotte is married to Novocastian Simon and they have a daughter Mia. In 2009 the family returned to Newcastle and Lotte joined the Nineways Chiropractic Clinic. Interested in continuing her chiropractic education Lotte participates regularly in seminars and particularly those in the field of DNS. In chiropractic her primary focus is to help people whether their problem is acute, chronic or related to a sporting injury or though seeking sport’s performance enhancement. Lotte uses low force techniques to aid muscular skeletal rehabilitation in both young and old.

Ms Laura Kippist

Biography:
Chiropractor

B. Sc., M. Sc (Chiropractor) Doctor of Chiropractic Laura Kippist graduated with a Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University Sydney in 2007. Laura re-joined the team at Nineways in July 2013 and at present is in attendance on Mondays and Wednesdays. She also works on the Central Coast at a highly regarded local practice. She has quickly developed a sound and positive rapport with our patients and staff alike. Laura’s philosophy is to provide high quality treatment, specifically prescribed for individual conditions. Her main areas of interest in practice are the management and rehabilitation of acute and chronic spinal disorders. Laura regularly attends chiropractic seminars to further her education and has a special interest in DNS, a rehabilitation technique originating in the Czech Republic. DNS provides an effective tool for those with more serious chronic conditions. It is also invaluable in treating children, helping to maximize balance within the muscular skeletal system before the child develops pain or functional disorders.
