The Shape Clinic currently has clinics in Darlington and Sedgefield. We have one at Hobson and Holmes in West Park, Darlington, Helene Permanent Beauty in Duke Street, Darlington and Elle Hair and Beauty in Sedgefield. Each location has easy access to parking nearby.

At the clinic we offer Ultrasound Cavitation/ Ultrasound Lipo which targets the stubborn pockets of fat on the body where exercise and diet just don't touch,no matter what you try to do. It can be used on the buttocks, thighs, inner knee, backs of arms, "love handles" and abdomen. The ultrasound places the fat cells under pressure and they break, forcing the fat to expel into the Lymphatic and Urinary system and eventually leave the body naturally by either urine or sweat. Drinking lots of water before and after treatment is advised as the process is more effective.  Ultrasound waves travel better through water.On your arrival you will have various forms complete to assess your suitability. There are some medical conditions that will preclude your treatment.  We need to ensure your health and safety at all times. Once forms have been completed and you are able to access the treatment, you will have measurements taken of the area that is being treated. A photograph will also be taken before and after to show the results and a measurement of body fat is taken in order to set the machine to the correct intensity.You will then be asked to make yourself comfortable on the couch where the treatment will take place.  Ultrasound gel is then applied to the chosen area. Once the machine is placed onto the body, a high pitched sound or buzzing can be heard in the head. This is perfectly safe.Treatment time is in total 30 minutes, pain free and no need for recovery time, making it suitable to fit into your day.Ultrasound Cavitation is not a miracle cure but it does help you achieve your goal faster. To maintain your results, it's advised to have a good diet and regular activity. It is advised to do around 30 minutes activity after treatment to encourage the lymphatic system to move the released fats ( Triglycerides) .
