The first step towards booking your initial Grace infusion is for you to contact our dedicated Grace Medical reception team or by email. Please be sure to book at least one week in advance to allow time for the necessary paperwork.
INFUSION CONSULTATION PROCESS
We will ask you to fill out our medical history questionnaire which we can send to you by post or email. You must complete this form and return it to us at least 48 hours before your appointment, or the nurse will not be able to proceed with the consultation. This allows the doctor enough time to thoroughly review your questionnaire.
Under certain circumstances, we may decide that would be more appropriate for you to see another Grace practitioner and will refer you for ongoing care and management if you so choose.
On the day of your appointment, you will have an initial consultation with our specialist nurse during the first 15 minutes. This consultation gives you the opportunity to discuss your Medical History Questionnaire and any questions or concerns that you may have. Blood tests are available for suspected deficiencies or sensitivities.
We will always make certain that you are aware of the expected cost of our infusion services so there will be no surprises on the day and our nurse will be available should you have any queries or concerns.
THE INFUSION
Most infusions take approximately one hour. We will ask you to make yourself at home in one of our comfortable infusion chairs. Now you can sit back, relax and let your body be revitalised.
Once you are relaxed, a small, flexible tube, about the size of a pinhead, will be inserted into a vein guided by a needle which is then removed when the tube is in place. The tube will then be connected to the infusion which will flow gently into your bloodstream, giving your body immediate access to essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
Your blood pressure and heart rate will be monitored by our nurse before and after the infusion. Once the infusion is complete, the tube will be removed from your arm and a small plaster will be applied.
Then, when you feel ready, you are able to get up and go. We will make sure there is ample time for you to have any questions or concerns answered before you leave.
