I saw Dr Bilal today. He was assisted by Libby, and I must say that I was very impressed, despite feeling a little anxious. Dr Bilal reassured me and the whole procedure, from giving me the local anaesthetic, having an impacted Wisdom tooth, and a snapped off molar extracted, took less than 10 minutes. I went into the treatment room at 1 pm, and I was on the bus home by 1.16. There was no pain and hardly any bleeding. If your dentist is hesitant about removing a tooth, ask to be referred to Smilekind.

I am posting this review because as a psychotherapist, I have been deeply impressed by Michael's holistic and compassionate approach, both in relation to my own experience with him, and those of my partner, and one of my supervisors. His expertise as an acupuncturist is obviously based on years of experience. He also brings to his work what the deeply influential Carl Rogers calls, "the core conditions", of congruence (or genuineness), empathy, and unconditional positive regard ( or non-judgment). For me, it is this capacity that makes him an outstanding acupuncturist.
