Dr Klaus Sellheyer
Job Title: Dermatologist
Board certified in dermatology, dermatopathology and anatomic pathology. He studied medicine in Germany and earned his medical degree at the Georg-August-University in Goettingen. In his native country he completed a research fellowship in ophthalmic electronic microscopy at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Bonn, a research fellowship in immunohistochemistry and cell culture at the Department of Pathology, Free University of Berlin, and a residency in dermatology at Klinikum Elberfeld, Wuppertal, University of Düsseldorf Medical School. In the United States, Dr. Sellheyer did a residency in dermatology (Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio) and in anatomic pathology (Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York) and is board-certified in both specialties. Dr. Sellheyer additionally completed two fellowships in dermatopathology, at New York University Medical Center, New York, NY, and at the University of Chicago Hospitals Chicago, Illinois. He also trained for three years in molecular dermatology at the Department of Cell Biology, Baylor College of Medicine Houston, Texas.
