Mole Removal from £280
We use advanced thermocoagulation for mole removal which involves an electrical current flowing through a tiny needle which generates heat and is applied to the skin lesion. We would use a local anaesthetic injection to numb the area. This technique has a superior aesthetic outcome compared with other treatments. The first thing to do would be to book in for a FREE consultation to assess the lesion and make sure it is something we can treat. The cost is £280 per mole. We send off a portion of all moles removed to the laboratory to screen for any cancerous cells contained within the mole. Mole Removal from £225
Mole removal is a fairly painless process. Anaesthetic crème is applied approximately 30 mins -1 hour before treating.   Multiple moles can be treated during the 15 minute session at no additional cost.  Following treatment the area will be a little red and the mole will gradually dry out forming a scab.  It is very important that this scab comes away of its own accord as premature removal could result in the area scarring.  Also if the mole is large or deep a second  or third treatment might be required to fully remove it. Moles are removed using shortwave diathermy with galvanic current.

During the first visit the patient will have a full consultation with Dr Farrell to cover their skin concern. If appropriate, Dr Farrell may also examine other sites of the skin, as sometimes other sites of the body can be similarly affected. (e.g. in the case of sun damage). Dr Farrell with discuss with you the diagnoses, relevant investigations and treatment plan. Some investigations can be done on the day but others may need approval from your insurance company . Dr Farrell will also suggest a treatment plan and provide relevant information leaflets. The clinic also has available on site many of the products that may be required as part of the treatment plan and we can dispense these on the day. We also provide a postal service so that repeat requests for product can be supplied. Dr Farrell will usually also follow up the consultation with a typed report which will be posted to you within a few days summarising the discussion. Dr Farrell usually writes to your General Practitioner with her recommendations and a copy is sent to you.
