4.7 50 Microdermabrasion • Paid: £85

I recently booked in for a microdermabrasion & fruit acid peel at Tracey Bell's Hanover St clinic. I found the treatment itself really relaxing, but it was the results that left a lasting impression. Skin feels smoother and tighter & brighter as soon as you leave the treatment room & these improvements last.

the results excellent,

Microdermabrasion • Paid: £345

Ever since I was a teenager I have suffered with acne I always had to wear huge amounts of make up to cover it up I am now 26 and I am fed up of constantly worrying aboutmy skin and thinking how noticeable it is! When I went to the clinic the team were so reassuring I had a skin anaylsis and a treatment plan given to me with number of options which would benefit in my acne dilemna. I decided to have a course of 6 microdermabrasions with 6 rejuvenating chemical peels along with a product called acnoban a microdermabrasion is a treatment which is a Mechanical exfoliation of the skin, removing the upper layers (stratum corneum) to produce a refreshed, renewed and retexturised appearance. The process uses a vacuum suction and fine abrasive crystals to polish and resurface all skin types. As we age our skin cell turnover slows down as does collagen and elastin production, Microdermabrasion is like an accelerated exfoliation it helps to promote collagen, elastin and cell nutrition and speeds up cell production. Excellent for the treatment of acne, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation (brown spots) resurfacing and rejuvenation and the removal of blackheads and blocked pores.
Chemical peels are extremely popular at Tracey Bell as the results are immediate, the results excellent, leaving smoother more radiant skin. The acnoban product that i use is a non-greasy product is an antiseptic formulation including hyssop extract and sea buckthorn fruit oil contains the perfect blend of blemish fighters and salicylic acid to gently exfoliate and eliminate impurities.

the doctor we met was very professional the technique excellent

Paid: £8000

My husband has suffered hair loss since the age of 22 and at 30 it really started to effect his confidence. In all honesty it was myself who had to do the research and in fact book the appointments and I am glad to say that he's booked in for his DHI (direct hair) @ Tracey Bell hair transplants are all different and we spent a good 3 months doing our research.
He is having a mega session this month and already he is so much happier.
Why DHI the doctor we met was very professional the technique excellent and even he had said the procedure himself yes we could see the grown already. We were given contacts testimonials at this consultation and after nothing was for much the technique claims no scars no scalpels and minimal pain.
I am very very confident it will be a change for the better hair transplants need not be false looking an embarrassment or something to be afraid of all it needs to be is talked about and it to educate people.

So...... all you women out there if your man out there wears a cap and is growing to hide his hair loss take the initiative and look into your options DHI was certainly our best option give your man the confidence to make the call I am glad I did.

The staff were friendly caring helpful considerate

Deep Tissue Massage • Paid: £90

I had a massage followed by a 30 min pedicure. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely come back for more! The decor is lovely at the clinic - I really appreciated the attention to detail that has gone into everything, right from how all the staff speak to you, through to the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I did find the treatment to be more expensive than at other places, but I was very happy to pay more because of the entire experience and exclusivity of the clinic.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

Today I came to the clinic to be part of the Zeltiq (Cool Sculpting Fat Freezing) trial.
After a full briefing about the procedure and subsequent consultation in which I was invited to identify any “problem” areas, it was decided that I would benefit most from two treatment areas.
The first was my lower abdomen (mummy tummy!!) but also immediately under my bust line was an area of stubborn fat that, if I’m honest has always troubled me.
Every step of the treatment and procedure was explained to me and I felt very much part of the process and not a “guinea pig”.
The initial feeling when the cup was put on my tummy was that of a tightening and when the freezing started, only mild discomfort – like wearing a “really tight pair of jeans”. I can honestly say it was no more than that. After a while there was no feeling at all, just the weight of the machine almost like a heavy hot water bottle on my tum.
After the cup was removed, I was a bit shocked to see the “sausage shaped” skin roll but was immediately reassured that this would disappear as the temperature rose and indeed it did.
So comfortable was the treatment that I decided to go for the second. It was thought that as this was closer to my diaphragm, I may experience slightly more discomfort but can also say that this was not the case.
Now feel slightly numb on my lower abdomen and a mild ache (like doing too many sit ups) Can you ever do too many sit ups???
Can’t wait to see the results!

Would you recommend the clinic?

Absolutely the staff are amazing and the choice of treatments is out of this world.

Would you return for further treatment?

Yes I'm already booked in for more!

Sculptra™ Filler

Sculptra™ Filler - Tracey Bell - Liverpool
Currently there are at least three fillers that fill this role. Radiesse is a calcium based; filler which was first introduced as a traditional filler. However, subsequent studies showed that much of the injected material was absorbed, and the prolonged effect seen was due at least partially to the production of new collagen in the area. In our hands, Radiesse has been essentially problem free. Sculptra, in contrast, has always been recognized as achieving its effect by inducing the body to produce new collagen. Sculptra consists of tiny particles of poly-L-lactic acid, the same material that is used in absorbable sutures.

Excessive Sweating Treatment

It is commonly an inherited condition and can affect those who suffer from it on a social, functional, and emotional level. The good news is, there are several different ways to combat excessive sweating with varying levels of effectiveness depending on the severity of the excessive sweating problem. Use the list of links on the left to cover all relevant topics ranging from hand sweating to armpit sweating.

Fat Reduction Injections

Lipodissolve is a fairly new treatment option for people that struggle with their weight.  Lipodissolve (also refered to as lipodisolve) is analternative to liposuction and is growing in popularity among women.  There are studies that show that around 90% of women are affected by some form of cellulite.  With that in mind most women would like to never have to see cellulite and if they do see would like to get rid of it.  This new treatment can help with that.

Laser Lipolysis

Laser Lipolysis is a minimally invasive way of removing small localised fat deposits. It is a revolutionary new laser assisted liposculpture procedure for the removal of saddlebags, love handles, and double chins etc. It can effectively reduce areas of fat resistant to diet or exercise whilst reducing the risks associated with traditional procedures such as liposuction.

Smartlipo is a minimally invasive procedure of unwanted fat removal from a particular area or region of the body. It is just like an alternate procedure to liposuction and is approved by FDA. The adipose tissue also called fatty tissue is destroyed or dissolved in this process. The adipose tissue is located just beneath the skin in human beings.

Lip Augmentation

ou must be in good general health. You might not a good candidate for lip augmentation if you have oral herpes, scarring, or certain diseases such as diabetes, lupus, connective tissues disorders, or blood clotting problems.

Like any other cosmetic surgery, lip augmentation requires a lot of responsibility. You can only determine for yourself if youre ready. Weve included the most popular injections and implants here; this information should serve as a general overview only and should not replace your doctors advice. Once youve selected a doctor, you will communicate with him or her and decide together which option best suits your needs

Micro-Botox™ - Tracey Bell - Liverpool
maller pores result in a smaller skin surface area hence making skin more stretched out over the face. The shots along the jaw line reduce the downward drag of the platysmus muscle. A non-surgical facelift we call the "The Treatment for lines and wrinkles Lift" is as such achieved

Mole Removal

You can have your moles removed by a surgeon, but there is one catch: if the moles are not cancerous, then removing them is generally considered cosmetic surgery. This means many different insurance packages do not cover the surgery, and you would have to pay for it out of your own pocket. Because the surgery is somewhat expensive, especially if you have a lot of moles, it may simply not be an option.

Non-Surgical Facelift

Surgical face lift is not a one-off procedure. You have to keep coming back for maintenance because its effects are not long lasting. That’s because it does not provide anything nourishing, strengthening, or toning to your face.

So you keep on blowing thousands of dollars on something that will just continue to bring back your pre-surgical face.

£80 - £350

Scar Removal

Scar Removal is now a straight forward and simple process, whether it be laser scar removal, acne scar removal or just normal scar removal.

Scars can be a real nuisance. They can take ages to fade and sometime don’t at all. I’m sure you have tried several different techniques to help fade and remove your scars but none work right? Hopefully some of the articles on this site will give you an idea on how you can effectively remove scars.

Spider Veins Treatment

Varicose veins are abnormal, dilated blood vessels caused by a weakening in the vessel wall. They may appear as swollen, twisted clusters of blue or purple veins. Varicose veins are sometimes surrounded by thin, red capillaries known as spider veins (group of tiny blood vessels located close to the surface of the skin, also called telangiectasias).

Varicose and spider veins can appear anywhere, but most often appear on the legs and in the pelvic area. Most varicose veins develop near the surface of the skin.

Laser and Pulsed Light Vein Treatment

Laser Vein Treatments:
Laser treatment is a safe and effective way to treat superficial veins on the face. At Midwest Vein Care, we consider sclerotherapy the gold standard for treating leg veins, however laser can be used on these vessels as an adjunctive treatment or when sclerotherapy is contraindicated.

Laser uses a one wavelength focused beam of light targeting the pigment in the venous blood. The absorption of the laser light causes heating of the small vein, sealing it closed whereby the body then absorbs the scar tissue. Because the light hits just the target area the surrounding skin is not damaged. Over a period of several weeks the treated veins gradually disappear.

from £139

Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat varicose veins and “spider veins.” During sclerotherapy, the physician injects a solution directly into the affected vein. The solution irritates the lining of the vessel, causing it to swell and stick together. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. Sclerotherapy is a well-proven procedure and has been used since the 1930s

Tattoo Removal

The use of dermabrasion, salabrasion and Argon or CO2 lasers have left behind scars in place of the tattoo. The advent of Q-Switched lasers has permitted the removal of most tattoo inks with a very low risk of scarring. The Nd:YAG laser is the newest system in this class of lasers. This laser can significantly lighten or remove many tattoo inks, and is particularly advanced in the removal of blue, black and red inks. The Nd:YAG laser removes tattoo ink with the energy of light.

Just as natural sunlight is made up of light wavelengths of many colors, a laser is a device which is designed to produce one or more specific wavelengths of light. These wavelengths are either absorbed, reflected or simply passed through the skin but is absorbed by the ink. The rapid absorption of light energy causes the tattoo ink to destruct, where it is then removed by the bodys natural filtering systems.

Medical research has taught us which wavelengths of light to use and specifically how to deliver the lasers output to best remove tattoo ink. The Nd:YAG uses a light wavelength which passes through skin, but is absorbed by most inks. YAG laser also delivers the light in very short, high intensity pulses from maximum ink destruction. The use of this specific combination of wavelength and rapidly pulsed light results in minimal damage to the skin while providing maximum tattoo ink removal.

Varicose Veins Treatment

Radiofrequency Ablation of Varicose Veins

Today, the radiofrequency ablation (RFA) procedure is an alternative method in the treatment of varicose veins. The procedure also known as endovenous RFA is a minimally invasive technique to treat varicose veins. The procedure involves making a very small incision near the knee and threading a small catheter in the vein up to the groin. Radiofrequency waves are applied and the vein is heated. The heat destroys the vein and with time, the vein disappears. This novel procedure is done as an outpatient, involves a small incision and results in rapid recovery.

Vein Stripping

Vein stripping is more properly called vein ligation. It is a surgical process by which large varicose veins are removed from the legs. Primary reasons for having vein stripping done include cosmetically improving the look of the legs, or addressing conditions that can be caused by varicose veins. In particular, some people develop ulcerations on or around varicose veins that may be eliminated through vein stripping

? The patented Vaser Lipo Liposelection technology efficiently breaks up fat with diffuse ultrasound energy (similar to that used for cataract removal in the eye). The energy is delivered using small, solid, grooved probes. The liquefied fat is then removed with suction and massage using tiny cannalue designed to give minimal tissue trauma.

? Vaser ultrasound energy dissolves the fat cells and simply bounces of other structures such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue which are therefore left undisturbed giving great results.

? It is performed under local anaesthesia not general anaesthesia. This form of anaesthesia is called tumescent liposuction.

? This makes the Vaser Lipo Liposelection procedure safer with a more comfortable recovery period

Hair Loss Treatments

Hair Loss Treatment

Baldness and hairloss are not always inevitable, and the amount and rate of loss can often be diminished with the correct treatment. The good news is, there are now available more options than ever before, the bad news is however is that there are even more unscrupulous people selling useless lotion and potions to people who are willing to try anything to achieve their hopes and dreams

Hair Transplant

When done right, a hair transplant surgery can produce life long results that are so natural that even hair stylists cannot detect them. But choosing the hair restoration procedure and clinic is critical.

Micrografts / Minigrafts - Hair Restoration

Micro-grafting is the procedure of hair restoration by transplanting healthy follicles into the bald areas of the scalp. A micro-graft contains hair follicles that include from one to three hairs per follicle. These follicles make up the micro-graft donor patch. Micro-grafts are removed from a donor site, which is located on either the side or back of your scalp.

Mini graft is a name change from hair plugs. It is a hair restoration procedure for transplanting 6 - 12 hairs from donor areas on the scalp. It is unnatural and easy lead to the head of a childs doll. Micrografts were frequently damaged during the removal process or were too fragile to survive.

Bariatric Surgery

Bariatric Surgery Consultation

Weight loss surgery is more than the surgery itself. There is an extensive qualification process and life long commitment to the lifestyle changes after the surgery

Gastric Balloon

If you are one of thousands of people who have tried dieting the traditional way without success, then you may need help of a different kind. Successful weight loss programmes should not only help you lose weight but keep it off over time.

The gastric balloon combines a clinically tested and proven medical device without surgery to reduce hunger and effectively manage weight loss.

The gastric balloon may not be suitable for everyone; a consultation with a specialist is required to evaluate each individual requirement.

The gastric balloon is used in conjunction with a managed weight loss programme, including supervised diet and lifestyle modification. The adjustable gastric balloon is indicated for a maximum of 12 months.

Gastric Band

A laparoscopic adjustable gastric band, commonly referred to as a lap band, is an inflatable silicone device that is placed around the top portion of the stomach, via laparoscopic surgery, in order to treat obesity. Adjustable gastric band surgery is an example of bariatric surgery designed for obese patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or greater—or between 35–40 in cases of patients with certain comorbidities that are known to improve with weight loss, such as sleep apnea, diabetes, osteoarthritis, GERD, Hypertension (high blood pressure), or metabolic syndrome, among others.

General Practice

Cryosurgery works by taking advantage of the destructive force of freezing temperatures on cells. At low temperatures, ice crystals form inside the cells, which can tear them apart. More damage occurs when blood vessels supplying the diseased tissue freeze

Stitches Removal

Among the many methods for closing wounds of the skin, stitching, or suturing, is the most common form of repairing a wound. Other methods include surgical staples, skin closure tapes, and adhesives.

Removing stitches or other skin-closure devices is a procedure that many people dread. Understanding the various skin-closure procedures and knowing how they are put in and what to expect when they are removed can help overcome much of this anxiety.

•Stitches (also called sutures) are used to close cuts and wounds in skin. They can be used in nearly every part of the body, internally and externally. Doctors literally "sew" the skin together with individual sutures and tie a secure knot. Stitches then allow the skin to heal naturally when it otherwise may not come together.
Stitches are used to close a variety of wound types. Accidental cuts or lacerations are often closed with stitches. Also, surgeons use stitches during operations to tie ends of bleeding blood vessels and to close surgical incisions.

Weight Control

Weight loss, in the context of medicine, health or physical fitness, is a reduction of the total body mass, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue and/or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon and other connective tissue. It can occur unintentionally due to an underlying disease or can arise from a conscious effort to improve an actual or perceived overweight or obese state.

Acne Treatment

cne treatments consist of reducing sebum production, removing dead skin cells, and killing bacteria with topical drugs and oral medications. Treatment choice depends upon whether the acne is mild, moderate, or severe.

Alternative treatments for acne focus on self care: proper cleansing to keep the skin oil-free; eating a well-balanced diet high in fiber, zinc, and raw foods; and avoiding alcohol, dairy products, tobacco, caffeine, sugar, processed foods, and foods high in iodine, such as salt.

Birthmark Removal

There are three major types of birthmark:

  • Vascular Birthmarks: Vascular birthmarks are one of the most common types of birthmarks and are often known as ‘port-wine stains’. They can be found on all areas of the body and typically will not fade or disappear over time.
  • Macular Birthmarks: Macular birthmarks are sometimes known as salmon patches and are flat, normally light pink patches of skin. They are most commonly found on the neck and eyelids. Those on the eyelids tend to fade over time, however the marks on the neck tend not to.
  • Pigmentation Birthmarks: Pigmentation birthmarks are where the s

Mole Assessment

Most people have a number of moles- the average is seven. Skin cancer can arise from these moles or start in normal skin. The number of people who develop skin cancer each year is increasing- possibly because of increased sun exposure as we holiday abroad. The most characteristic feature of skin cancers is recent change- either in size, shape, sensation or colour.

Rosacea Treatment

To treat rosacea, a dermatologist first identifies the subtype or subtypes of rosacea that are present on the patient’s skin. This diagnosis is crucial because each subtype has its own unique signs and symptoms, which often require different therapies

Skin Diagnostics

This allows for the digital/photographic recording and scientific, measuring recording of the condition. State of the Art equipment is used for this service and a serial review based on scientific measurements is possible. A digital recording with in-situ measurement of the lesions builds a valuable clinical library of information. These images are stored on your file and are used to make a comparative study of the condition or disease.

It is therefore possible for the Clinician to monitor the status and progress of any skin related condition and/or disease. The objective findings are based on digital photographic imaging of the lesions and the comparison of them over a period of time.

This Technology has improved and changed the way a trained Medical Doctor can manage general and more specialised skin and nail conditions.

Beauty Salon Treatments

Electrolysis is a way of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Todays medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle at the surface of the skin. The hair is then removed with tweezers.

Endermologie was the first treatment approved by the FDA to allow the claim of “temporary reduction of cellulite”. It is a massage machine with 2 rollers and a gentle suction action that when rolled over the top layer of fat makes a fold. Only a certified endermologist shall provide this service. This folding action stretches the connective tissue and results in the reduction of cellulite and body measurements. FDA approved claims that involved Endermologie treatments that included temporary reduction of cellulite, reduced body measurements, increased circulation, relief of muscular pain, and reduction of muscle spasms.

Endovenous Laser Therapy

Endovenous laser treatment is a treatment for varicose veins in which an optical fiber is inserted into the vein to be treated, and laser light, normally in the infrared portion of the spectrum, is shone into the interior of the vein. This causes the vein to contract, and the optical fiber is slowly withdrawn. Some minor complications can occur, including thrombophlebitis, pain, hematoma, edema and infection, which can lead to cellulitis.

Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment

With 240W of pulse power to tissue, the UltraPulse is 6 times more powerful than any other fractional CO laser available. The first COlasers delivered energy in continuous waves. These lasers could not produce very high peak powers for sustained periods, and therefore had limited pulse energy. As a result, charring often occurred when attempting to resurface tissue with practical spot sizes.

The Fraxel lasers works by emitting thousands of very precise pin-point columns light that pass through the skin and are absorbed specifically by the water in the damaged collagen of our skin. This action allows the laser light to remove very fine portions of damaged skin, diminishing the look of scars, wrinkles and uneven   textures.   Fraxel is "fractional" in that it intensively treats   tiny portions   of the skin   without affecting any of the surrounding tissue, which reduces healing time and promotes the skins natural process for creating new, healthier tissue to replace the damaged cells. The older, wrinkled collagen in the skin is remodeled into newer skin. As new cells form in the healing process, the skin is smoother and softer.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation

Photorejuvenation is a non-invasive skin procedure utilsing an intense pulse light machine (IPL). IPL differs from laser treatments as it offers a non-ablative solution to improving the texture, quality, colour and health of your skin. IPL is not a laser but a broad wavelength light that is pulsed onto the skin and can treat multiple conditions simultaneously; including broken veins and capillaries, redness of the skin, age spots, mottled pigmentation, benign brown pigment and freckles. Treatment can take place over the entire body with face, neck and décolletage being the most popular areas. We see hands and shoulders being treated also.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing holds advantages over alternative approaches that may cause discomfort, bleeding and bruising, all of which equate to a longer recovery time. Whats more, todays lasers are gentler and safer than they have been in the past.

Laser Skin Tightening

Laser skin tightening is a minimally invasive, non-surgical process that uses an infrared light source (a laser) to tighten skin by heating the collagen under the skin’s surface, causing the skin to contract (tighten). Facial skin tightening is noticeable immediately after the treatment, and there is no downtime, making this an increasingly popular procedure. Additional skin tightening occurs over the next few months, but optimal results usually require two or three treatments about a month apart.

Laser Wrinkle Reduction

With age comes many things, one of the worst being wrinkles. Caused by everything from cigarette smoke to dreaded time, millions of dollars are spent on lotions and creams each year by consumers battling the onset of wrinkles. After years of cold creams that dont work and countless other products that cost more than theyre worth, new procedures are offering another option to those afflicted with wrinkles. Laser wrinkle reduction uses the innovation of laser therapy to reduce the effect of deep lines. In just a few visits the results are clearly noticeable and patients are rediscovering years of youth left in their skin.

Pixel™ Laser Resurfacing

The Pixel Laser Surfacing procedure uses an Erbium Yag laser in resurfacing the skin. This treatment is state of the art, and is effective without the use of a CO2 laser and is without too much pain and downtime.

The Pixel laser technology tightens up skin on the neck, eyelids and works with overall skin quality by manipulating with the less than tight collagen fibers in the skin, while transitioning new cells. It indicates improvement in tone and texture of the skin, by reducing and almost removing discoloration due to age, UV ray exposure, while decreasing visible pore size, hyperpigmentation, and improving acne scars.

Usually completed in little under 20 minutes the results have been equal to those of traditional laser resurfacing techniques. The procedure prides itself on being performed with minimal downtime and discomfort, treatment protocols call for a series of 5 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart.

ProFractional Laser Skin Treatment

The laser utilized in the procedure is known as the ProFractional Laser. It treats problematic areas while keeping the rest of the face intact. The laser can go beyond the skin and deeper into the facial tissue where it generates heat that is necessary for the treatment. Collagen production is boosted by this heat, which in turn alleviates skin problems. The unique quality of the ProFractional Laser is its ability to create bridges in the skin where the energy is exclusively delivered. The treatment channels lay alongside untouched areas of the skin – these neutral areas allow the treated skin patches to heal faster.

RF Treatment

With deep, controlled heating of the fatty layers under the skin, the effects of tissue tightening and increased blood circulation mean that fatty deposits are drained through the lymphatic system, reducing the appearance of cellulite. Based on current RF technologies, most people should see at least a mild improvement in their skin tone, with a temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite and possible inch loss, with minimal risks and downtime.

Decolletage Rejuvenation

he Decolletage (Decolleté) area is a vital and sensitive part of a woman’s body.

As women age, the effects of sun-damage and ageing take its toll on this delicate area.

At Skin Etc, we appreciate that like the hands, this area can be a tell tale sign and can be distressing for many women. The rejuvenation of the decolletage (décolleté) can restore confidence both physically and psychologically. And so we have perfected a range of options that can be helpful.

Various treatments can be employed to improve the look of the decolletage (decolleté) such as medical grade moisturisers with SPF such as Daily Moisturising Protector SPF25 from Agera Rx..

For Age- spots the use of a Pigment controlling product such as Agera Rx Phyto-lightening Cream and Mag C Peptide Serum can be helpful.

Hand Rejuvenation

Because the skin on the back of the hands is extremely thin, the loss of  fat padding on any level shows quickly. Take away that cushion and all the structures in the hand show up - the tendons, bones and the veins. Sun damage plays a big part in the "aging hand" syndrome too. Given that your hands are nearly always routinely ignored when it comes to sunscreen - and they spend a lot of time in the "drivers seat" wrapped around a steering wheel - its no wonder they start showing their age earlier than the rest of our body.

Skin Revitalisation

Skin revitalisation to improve skin elasticity and skin smoothness

[Treatment name removed] Vital™ is a product range for skin revitalisation that works by improving skin elasticity and skin tone.

As we age, the quality of the skin changes - as collagen and elastic fibres degrade and the distribution and function of the body’s own hyaluronic acid is less efficient. This results in rougher and drier skin with less elasticity. The biological clock has an important role in this process but also lifestyle factors, such as exposure to sun, smoking and drinking..

Chemical Peel

Chemical peels, also known as chemexfoliation or derma-peeling, are a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which causes it to "blister" and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. The new skin also is temporarily more sensitive to the sun.
£36 - £356

Light Chemical Peel

Light chemical peels are also known as glycolic acid peels, AHA chemical peels, or salicylic acid chemical peels. Glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that occurs naturally in sugar cane, is the most common ingredient of light chemical peels. The ingredients and formulation of a light chemical peel, however, depend upon the specific patient’s skin care needs. With light chemical peels, the chemical solution is left on the skin for a relatively short amount of time.

£38 - £356

Medium Chemical Peel

Medium (TCA) chemical peels penetrate the skin more deeply than light chemical peels. In administering a medium chemical peel, the doctor applies a solution containing trichloroacetic acid to the skin. This chemical solution, which is custom formulated for each patient, works by removing the dull, damaged outer layers of skin — those affected by acne, fine lines, sun exposure, and other factors. In the week or so after treatment, these dead layers of skin slough off, revealing a new, smooth layer of skin.

Dermabrasion and dermaplaning help to "refinish" the skins top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping. The treatments soften the sharp edges of surface irregularities, giving the skin a smoother appearance.

Dermabrasion is most often used to improve the look of facial skin left scarred by accidents or previous surgery, or to smooth out fine facial wrinkles, such as those around the mouth. Its also sometimes used to remove the pre-cancerous growths called keratoses. Dermaplaning is commonly used to treat deep acne scars.

Facial Rejuvenation

Treatment for lines and wrinkles can easily be used to effect a reduction in frown lines, forehead wrinkles, bunny nose, jaw, and crows feet. Treatment for lines and wrinkles can also elevate the eyebrow area effecting a non-surgical brow lift. In the neck, Treatment for lines and wrinkles is very effective in the reduction of horizontal neck lines and in the relaxation of vertical mid neck cords, i.e., thickened bands of the underlying platysma muscle. Treatment for lines and wrinkles can also reduce lip lines, enhance lip fullness and reduce marionette lines. Where do you put Treatment for lines and wrinkles? The frown lines between the eyebrows are caused by the action of muscles called "the corrugators". These are located just under the inner aspect of the eyebrows and can be felt as a thickening in this area when you frown.

Collagen Facial

A collagen facial is a beauty care treatment that uses

 protein to revitalize the skin.

is a naturally occurring protein that is found in the skin, tissues and bones; in the skin, it is found in the lower dermis layers, and is responsible for maintaining skin structure and strength. A

facial attempts to retard the aging process by replenishing the skins natural proteins by external application.

IPL Hair Removal

PL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. IPL treatments are often referred to as photo rejuvenation, Photofacial or IPL Photofacial due to its use of "selective photothermolysis" during treatment. Photothermolysis is the process by which IPL lasers convert light energy to heat energy and treat unwanted hair and skin pigments. IPL lasers can use photothermolysis to remove unwanted hair, or to correct skin hyperpigmentation, rosacea, age spots and the appearance of sun damage.

Laser Hair Removal

There are many ways to remove unwanted hair including shaving, plucking, electronic tweezers, radiofrequency tweezers, waxing, depilatories (creams), and electrolysis (inserting a needle into each hair follicle one at a time followed by an electric spark to burn out the follicle). Most of these methods, however, are temporary. A topical cream called eflornithine can be applied to slow hair growth on the face in women, but must be used on an ongoing basis. Lasers offer the only method for permanent hair reduction.

Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for two to eight weeks. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet. There are many types of waxing suitable for removing unwanted hair.

Waxing is accomplished by spreading a wax combination thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is then pressed on the top and ripped off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth.[1] This removes the wax along with the hair. Another method utilizes hard wax (as opposed to strip wax). In this case, the wax is applied somewhat thickly and with no cloth or paper strips. The wax then hardens when it cools, thus allowing the easy removal by a therapist without the aid of cloths. This waxing method is very beneficial to people who have sensitive skin.
