Victoria Park Clinic is a doctor-led aesthetic and skin medicine clinic in Bethnal Green, East London, moments from Victoria Park. Every consultation and treatment plan is overseen by Dr Gohar Shah, a practising NHS GP with specialist dermatology training. The clinic takes a medical approach to concerns that are often treated cosmetically elsewhere. Rather than matching you to a device or product, we start by understanding what is actually driving the concern — whether that is skin quality, pigmentation, volume change, muscle tone or something that needs medical attention before any aesthetic treatment is appropriate. Patients are honestly advised when treatment is not indicated; we consider that part of the job.

Our treatment range centres on evidence-led, non-surgical technologies. These include Emface, a needle-free treatment that tones facial muscles and improves skin for a lifted appearance; the Exion platform, covering radiofrequency skin treatments for face and body as well as radiofrequency microneedling; SkinPen microneedling for skin texture and the appearance of acne scarring; Dermalux Tri-Wave MD, a medical-grade LED phototherapy system whose blue light is shown to help reduce acne-causing bacteria; and Emsella, a non-invasive chair-based treatment for pelvic floor muscle strengthening. Injectable options include consultation-led anti-wrinkle treatments and a range of skin boosters and bio-remodelling injectables for skin hydration and quality. All injectable treatments begin with a face-to-face medical consultation with the doctor.

Because the clinic is doctor-led, appointments are unhurried and honest. You will be examined properly, given a clear explanation of what we find, and offered a written plan — including realistic expectations about what any treatment can and cannot achieve, expected timescales, and costs before anything goes ahead. Where a concern would be better served by your GP, a dermatology referral or further investigation, we will say so and help you take that route.
