Cellulite Treatment
  • Medical skin needling is the latest skin rejuvenation technique used to help restore a healthy, flawless and youthful appearance to the skin.  It is a safe, simple and effective treatment that can be used on the face and the body.  Skin conditions that respond well to this treatment are:
  • Cellulite
  • Unsightly scars, including acne scars
  • Wrinkles, lines, folds and crows feet and other skin ageing related issues
  • Broken capillaries
  • Hyperpigmentation / uneven pigmentation
  • Stretch marks

During treatment a small cylindrical barrel with ultra-fine microneedles is rollered over the skin and the tiny needles penetrate the top layers of skin creating microscopic punctures, so that specialist skincare products can be applied and absorbed deep within the dermis.  This encourages the production of new collagen and elastin, so that the skin regenerates itself from within.  After the treatment, the skin will gradually look fresher and healthier as the treatment takes effect and the benefits are long lasting.

The concept of skin needling or Collagen Induction Therapy takes advantage of the body’s natural response to damage or injury; which is fundamentally to repair itself by regenerating the collagen and elastin fibres.  The dermaroller triggers the self repair mechanism through hundreds and thousands of tiny pin pricks to boost collagen growth.

Noticeable results can be seen from just one Dermaroller treatment.  However, for optimum impact a course of 3 treatments, typically 6 weeks apart would be recommended.  For treatment of stretch marks we recommend a course of 6 treatments, 6 weeks apart. Skin needling is minimally invasive and healing is rapid.  Immediately following treatment the treated area may appear red and flushed.  This should fade within a few hours.  After the treatment th

Dermal Fillers

A dermal filler is a substance which is Injected into the skin to replace the volume lost with age, by plumping it up and making it firmer.  This smoothes out lines and wrinkles, as well as rehydrating the skin from within, thus restoring the skin to its former youthful appearance.  These products are very effective in both men and women in helping to fill out lines around the lips and the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial lines).  Dermal fillers can be used to fill minor to moderate lines and wrinkles or deep folds.

Dermal fillers can also be used for lip augmentation and when used for this purpose can lend volume and definition to lips, producing the classic pout and making lips look sensual.

There are many types of dermal fillers on the market, but at Fresh Face we only use synthetically produced non-animal products consisting of Hyaluronic acid (HA) which can be found naturally in the body.  The results of dermal fillers can be seen immediately and typically last up to one year but this depends on your age, skin type, lifestyle factors.  You should experience minimal discomfort during treatment, with only transient redness, swelling or tenderness for 2-7 days after treatment. An anaesthetic cream can be applied to the area prior to treatment to help numb the area if required. Alternatively, a dental block can be given prior to treatment to completely numb the area. Please note there is an additional charge of £15 for this service. Treatment with dermal fillers is non-invasive with virtually no ‘down-time’ necessary and you can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment.  Dermal fillers can be tailored to your needs to provide a beautiful, natural look.

We offer a free, no-obligation confidential consultation prior to treatment to discuss your options, assess your needs and answer any questions you may have.  Please contact Amanda at Fresh Face on&

Pigmentation Treatment

Agera Rx has developed revolutionary skin peels that have been clinically proven to effectively reduce the appearance of pigmentation in the skin.  These unique no down time peels reduce the activity of pigment producing cells deep within the skin for a flawless, even-toned complexion.

After years of scientific research Agera Rx has formulated pigmentation control treatments to effectively reduce the activity of melanocytes, the cells in the skin that produce pigment.  Natural active ingrediants such as kojic acid, arbutin and methyl gentisate help reduce unwanted pigmentation in even the most sensitive skin.

Free radicals are damaging agents that disrupt the normal function of skin cells.  They are caused by sun exposure, pollution and other environmental factors.  Agera Rx formulations contain powerful antioxidants that have been proven to combat free radical damage.  Regular use helps prevent pigmentation formation and correct damage to collagen and elastin caused by sun exposure.

Agera Rx sunscreens protect against the damaging effects of both UVA and UVB exposure, while also stimulating new collagen and elastin.  It is important to use sunscreens daily to control pigmentation as well as to protect the skin from premature ageing.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a modern non-surgical skin rejuvenation technique that exfoliates to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis, exposing living cells that are soft, smooth and receptive to nutrients.  Removing the dead skin will aid in the penetration of skin care by up to 50% and make-up will go on much more smoothly.  Microdermabrasion may be performed for the following treatable conditions:

  • Sun induced pigmentation, melasma, age spots
  • Whiteheads and blackheads
  • Fine lines and minor wrinkles
  • Acne and blemishes – post eruption
  • Enlarged / clogged pores
  • Flaking and dry skin
  • Excessive oiliness
  • Scar and callus reduction
  • Pre-treatment for cosmetic surgery

At Fresh Face we use Diamond Microdermabrasion technology which provides a non-surgical skin refinish procedure, by using sterile diamond heads to abrade or rub off the top skin layer, then vacuuming out the particles along with any dirt and dead skin.  Microdermabrasion is a safe and effective treatment for a variety of skin conditions and many clients find it very relaxing. One treatment takes approximately 30 minutes, allowing you to return to normal daily activities immediately. Results can be seen after only one treatment, however, a course of treatments is recommended to achieve deeper longer lasting results.  The average complete cell turnover is 4-5 weeks, so it will be at the end of this time that the full results can be seen.  We also recommend that if you wish to maintain your results, regular treatments, ideally every 4-6 weeks, should achieve this.

Microdermabrasion treatment aids in the penetration of skin care by up to 50%.  In order to achieve optimum results from your treatment the most important aspect of your skin care will be to use the appropriateon a daily basis to enhance the results.  At Fresh Face we recommend the us
