They should avoid going in direct sunlight for at least two days. They should drink plenty of water after the treatment. They should not get any beauty treatments done on their face for at least a week. They should avoid strenuous exercises and lifting heavy objects for at least a month. They should avoid blood thinning medications for a few weeks.  Patients should perform facial exercises for a few hours after the procedure.

Dermal Fillers are used to treat fine lines, wrinkles and folds, usually around the lower half of the face, such as around the mouth. Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced in our bodies to provide elasticity and volume to our skin. As we get older the level of Hyaluroinc acid naturally depletes. Most Dermal fillers are a biodegradable hyaluronic acid gel. These products are suitable for areas such as the lines from the nose to the mouth, giving a filled, relaxed look and reducing wrinkles and lines. The treatment can last up to 6- 9 months, though this varies amongst patients. It is a safe procedure. Side effects may include some swelling, redness, soreness and local tenderness. These tend to resolve after 2-3 days.
