Ruth Wright is the Head Laseographer at The Karma Clinic and a respected figure in the advanced aesthetics and laser treatment industry. With over 30 years of experience, she combines hands-on expertise with an impressive background in teaching, training, and client care.
Her qualifications include Beauty Therapy (City & Guilds), Advanced Electrolysis, Holistic Therapies including Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, and Reiki Healing. Ruth also holds a BTEC Level 4 in Laser & Light Therapy Applications, Core of Knowledge, Health & Safety with Lasers, and a Level 5 in Tattoo Removal & Practice. She is further trained in a wide range of advanced aesthetic treatments including SkinPen Microneedling, Cryotherapy, Thermavein, and AlumierMD Advanced Skincare.
Ruth’s teaching background spans more than two decades as a Beauty Therapy Tutor at Aylesbury College and five years at Champneys College of Beauty in Tring. She holds FAETC Teaching Qualifications, a Cert Ed in Further Education from Oxford Brookes College, and Assessors Awards (D32, D33, D34). She has also worked as an International Examiner for CIBTAC and was a Lumenis UK Trainer for laser applications in clinics, hospitals, and GP practices.
As an in-house trainer and mentor at The Belmore Centre and The Karma Clinic, Ruth shares her knowledge generously, always championing best practice and maintaining the highest standards of client care. Her professional approach is firmly grounded in The Belmore Ethos, prioritising safety, results, and ethical treatment planning.
One of her proudest achievements was running The Belmore Holistic Training Centre, where she delivered new qualifications to students, achieving a 100% pass rate and helping many change their lives and careers for the better.
Ruth’s calm, experienced presence makes her a trusted practitioner for both clients and colleagues. She specialises in IPL Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation, working closely with her patients from consultation through to aftercare to ensure confidence and comfort at every step.
Outside of clinic life, Ruth enjoys gardening, nature walks, and is a big fan of Strictly Come Dancing. A proud grandmother, she especially treasures walking holidays and travelling, her favourite destinations being New Zealand and South Africa.
