Botox® Westmount

I went to the clinic for a filler treatment for hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating in the armpits). The clinic was flexible in their availability and I scheduled my appointment as filler for a last-minute cancellation. Upon arrival, I met the assistant who took me to the examination room/ treatment room and subsequently saw the doctor to further discuss the treatment. I was told that the injections may last around 6 to 8 months on average but it may last longer in some cases. I then looked over the information provided and signed the consent form. As for the actual treatment, the needle used was quite small and I could feel the pricks but it was more uncomfortable than anything else. I did not experience any pain, though. Furthermore, I was told the treatment may not take effect immediately as it could take up to 10 days to take effect (individual results may vary). The price with taxes included was $977.29 (for 100 cc) but again, the price may vary. The clinic does provide a receipt for insurance purposes. I chose this particular clinic because the online reviews were mostly positive. Dr. Ptito has the required credentials and a lot of experience in the area of cosmetic procedures. Moreover, I also prefer having a female doctor over a male doctor, if possible. Lastly, the clinic is walking distance from my apartment which I found very convenient. The receptionist was very helpful and so was the rest of the staff. I received a follow-up email a week after my procedure to see if I had any questions or concerns. It has been one month since my procedure and I am very happy with the results. In my case, the treatment took effect after 6 hours and I hope that it will last for several months.

Dr. Blackburn is extremely professional with an amazing bedside manner. She is attentive, accommodating & patient. She never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable about the many questions I had. Rather, she took the time to thoroughly explain everything I asked patiently & pleasantly eased my qualms. The procedure was quick & painless as well as effective. I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience & will DEFINITELY be returning to see her for other treatments. Clean, professional & inviting environment. The Secretary was pleasant. The surroundings surreal. Overall decor aesthetically pleasing, comfortable & tasteful...a complete package to setting the right atmosphere.

Didn't get the treatment yet but loved the Doctor. He was very kind and explained everything very well. The secretary was very nice.

Before making my consultation with Dr. Mark Samaha, I did plenty of research and was really pleased with all the great reviews. I wanted to get rhinoplasty done, and as scared as I was, I had support from all my family and friends. My nose was wide, and I had a bump that bothered me throughout my whole childhood. I was twenty-three when I got the surgery. I was super convinced that Dr. Mark Samaha would be my surgeon, even before having ever met him. During my consultation, he asked me what bothered me. I explained it to him, and he knew exactly what to do. He pointed out things that I hadn't even realised about my nose. He explained what the procedure would be like, took pictures of my nose and photo-shopped it on his computer to give me an approximate idea of what it would look like. I was super pleased with the possible results. I really trusted him, and I knew he knew what he was talking about. It was like an instant trust that was built. I instantly booked the date of surgery. It was going to be three weeks from then. I told Dr. Samaha that I had serious anxiety, and he suggested I take some Attivan the week before my surgery. This really helped me get through everything. On the date of surgery, it was early in the morning. I was stoned from the Attivan. I felt nauseous due to the fact that I couldn't eat anything the night before or the morning of. I had the urge to puke cause all I had was Attivan in my system. The nurse (I forgot her name) was the sweetest person I had ever met. She was very comforting and made me feel a lot better. Finally, the local anaesthesia was given to me. I was completely out of it. I do remember Dr. Samaha saying to me "Are you ready" in the surgery room. I must have had the biggest smile on my face. My cast was removed after a week. I had a lot of bruising under my eyes that lasted about two to three weeks. My face and nose were very swollen (completely normal). I was almost worried at first from all the swelling on my nose. It is now six months later, and my nose is still swollen at the tip which is part of the recovery. I am completely in love with it now. I have never imagined actually going through with this, but I have never been more happy and confident about myself. I would do this over a million times. I recommend it to anyone who is unhappy about this feature, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Mark Samaha to anyone who's considering getting rhinoplasty done. All my family and friends love the results and are even considering getting theirs done with him as well. I have friends who had never had a problem with their nose and are actually so impressed with mine that they almost want to get theirs done too. He specialises in the nose which made it even more convincing to choose him as my surgeon. Do not fear that it will hurt because I felt absolutely no pain throughout the whole procedure. It was more discomfort than anything else, and it felt like I was congested for a little while due to all the swelling. The incisions were made inside the nostril. I do not have any scars. I am able to breathe just as well as before. I hope my story inspires you and remember not to be afraid. Do not let fear stop you from being the better version of you, even if it has to do with appearance. I didn't do this for anyone but myself because it is I who has to look in the mirror each morning. Fortunately, I can actually be proud of all my features now.
