Dr Rana Ali AlAmmadi had her MBBS certificate from King Saud University in Riyadh, then joined Bahrain Defence Forces (BDF) Hospital and after that she pursued her post graduate studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where she did her Family physician program and a fellowship in the field of Sports Medicine. She became member of the Canadian Collage of the family Physicians the first Bahraini female doctor who is qualified in Sports Medicine.
In 2003 Dr AlAmmadi decided to follow a new path in her carrier so she joined the industry by joining ALBA, one of the largest Aluminium Smelters in the world, and by the year 2004 she was promoted to be the Chief Medical Officer in Alba Healthcare Centre, to be the first Bahraini woman to lead into this position since the beginning of Alba in the year 1972.
In the year 2006 Dr AlAmmadi went back to Canada to be certified in Clinical Fellowship in Occupational Medicine from McMaster University to be the first Bahraini Woman certified with the above.
In the year 2012 Dr AlAmmadi joined The American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine to get her Fellowship in the field of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr AlAmmadi has been a founder and a member of Bahrain Occupational Health Association (BOHA), Also she is an active member of the Gulf Occupational and Environmental Medicine Group (GOEMG), and a member of the Health committee of the Industrial Aluminium Institute (IAI).
Dr AlAmmadi was invited twice by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) for updating the ILO list of the Occupational diseases.
Dr AlAmmadi currently established Dr Rana’s Aesthetic Health Centre to enhance the natural beauty with evidence based medicine with a slogan "Add life to your years"
