Gastric Band Removal Worldwide

Today is my 13th day post operative and I feel fit as a fiddle. Prof. Doc. Mehmet Tahir Ořuc came highly recommended by a friend who had a gastric sleeve and has since lost enough weight. I looked him up and his credentials stood out for me. I then booked him and thank God I did. As a person, he’s very jolly and reassuring. He was able to see me again and again until I left Turkey. Always kind and very friendly. I’m already 7kgs down and more to go! I feel value for every penny! His choice of hospital was also the best. I was alone through the journey but I felt safe in his hands. I would recommend him 100%. Thanks to his able assistant Afef who I texted a million times and she came back to me on all occasions. Her voice was the 1st I had when I woke up from anaesthesia(I am so grateful for this). She never tired to respond to my million questions. She kept me entertained during the pre-operative sessions. 2020 was supposed to be the the start of my journey at KCM Clinic for a full face & neck lift upper & lowers eye lids. Then covid hit us so I couldn’t go! Tried again that same year in August but for personal reasonings it wasn’t meant to be. Fast forward January 2025, I was at KCM Clinic on a Patients Group Trip ( a group of patients who travel together with a patient manager, in my case Kim ) I arrived with every expectation of having what I desired eventually! With the thorough examinations & diagnostic tests unfortunately I wasn’t able to have the surgery due to several factors. I was devastated! But i smoked, i had anemia , ( discovered via the post op tests when I arrived ) and i was on medication that made my hands swell twice the size. So , with another consultation with Dr Luniewska, she agreed to preform upper eyelid correction. I was happy to still be having something but grateful it was under local anaesthesia and I knew I wasn't taking any risks. 6 Months later with a proper diet , addition of vitamin d/c and arnica plus i stopped smoking enforced with all the advice given from Kim and Dr Luniewska I finally had my dream op on the Summer Group Trip! All the medical team are lovely. Dr Luniewska is very professional. She takes no risks and does not give false expectations. The nurses were good and knew there job well as well as the co ordinators based in the clinic. The clinic is spotless! Kim the international patients manager was super professional/caring and their when you need anything! Even brought us a latte once we were allowed to drink. If your thinking about surgery abroad there’s only one place and that's KCM Clinic especially group trips if your nervous or have no one to travel with. I highly recommend and I also encourage everyone to take the pre op instructions carefully and prepare. I'm now one week post op and im healing perfectly and already starting to see the results. She gave me good advice, kept in contact me throughout the whole journey, answered all my questions and generally reassured me throughout the whole process. Dr Andrea Ooi is a super-skilled and professional surgeon. She is supported by such dedicated staff who have allowed me to have a very successful operation. And I felt so supported prior too and have a well-advanced support arrangement moving forward; which will greatly assist in my weight loss journey. The hospital is well-equipped, modern and well-staffed. The hospital anaesthesiologist and assistant surgeon also very lovely, as too were the nursing staff.
